When I finally got the wireless adapter connected, it worked great and still continue to work great.

I needed a temporary internet and this device did the trick. It's easy to set up and use and small enough to do the job. I got great speeds while using it, though there are slightly faster adapters out there (for twice as much money). It's a great, easy solution to get wireless internet to a computer, especially for the price. Do check to make sure it's compatible with your wireless type--it may not work with some of th newest adapters out there.

This adapter has worked right from day one without issues, connected to my cable modem and has not drop signal at all. connects faster then my Ethernet connection (wired), just installed the stand alone driver in windows plugged it in and installed perfect. range seems strong I have the router in basement I am using it first floor ranch house, there is interference with signal but doesn't seem to affect the adapter shows signal as excellent 2.4 GHZ band about 140mb speed, its capable of 300mbs speed but my wireless router is limited. would buy again, but probably the 5ghz model so I could get full speed from my router.

The Wireless adapter was just what I was looking for. Have and older desktop computer that would not hookup to my wifi and this adapter allowed me to utilize this PC in A wireless mode and utilize it for internet access. the price was very fair and it was very easy to install.

I have purchased two of these. The unit itself does work well and setting it up is easy, whether you install all the software or just the drive. The software gives the option of installing the entire "suite" or just the driver. I suggest just the driver. The suite doesn't really offer much in the way of extras and some of the information is frankly just wrong. It shows for instance that I'm connected at 58mbps, but my download is actually going at 165mbps. The unit comes with an extension USB cable to allow you to plug it in directly to your computer or at a more optimum location. My computer is at the opposite end of the house as my wireless router, so plugged into the back of the computer provided almost no signal at all. But with the extension I was able to place the unit up on the bookshelf and then it worked great, with speeds equal to what my DSL service provides even to a hard-wired computer.

I absolutely love this product...easy to install and works perfectly. I have yet to lose a wifi signal in fact so I am definitely quite pleased...love it so much better than my pain in the butt plug linc that crapped out on me

I'm at IT consultant and Netgear is one of my favorite networking vendors. This inexpensive, easy to use USB wireless networking adapter performs as advertised, is simple to install and configure, and gets the job done.

Great little device that does what it's supposed to do. Easy and fast to install, nothing to it, if you have an issue installing customer support will work with you in a flash. Works right away. Buy with confidence!

I use these whenever I need a wireless adapter for a customer. The signal strength is good, it maintains speed better then most other devices that I've used. Its always been about 10 dollars cheaper then the competing products, therefore earning its place in my shopping cart. Occasionally, it needs to get unplugged and plugged back in to re-establish a lost connection. Not uncommon for these kinds of devices, but still a nuisance worth mentioning.

This has been the best wireless adapter that I have purchase as of yet. Easy installation and the price was affordable. Work very well once installation is complete and fast too.

This adapter works great and worked right out of the box. If I had known Win10 would not recognize my internal adapter, I would have bought the N300 right away and saved myself a lot of aggravation trying to figure out why I suddenly couldn't access the internet.

While there were plenty of other wireless adapters out there, I chose to go with an actual brand name. The price was $20-$30 range, and so I wasn't going to go that much cheaper. The device was so easy to use, that my teenage son did the installation. It pretty much self detected, and he just needed the password to our wireless service and it was good to go.

Without an Internet connection Windows 7 needed drivers, luckily there is a CD in the box that includes them... unfortunately the default options on that CD load a bunch of bloatware so users need to be careful when clicking through the installer. Range was surprisingly good for this small of a device and speed and reliability were not a problem.

So I got this because we didn't have a wire drop in the spot for the computer. It is being used at a car dealership. The computer with this is on the opposite side of the showroom from where our cisco AP is. It works well enough for the most part. We have had it a few months, and have had to re-seat it in the usb twice because of lost connection. But that's pretty much it. Its def not the best solution, but it works for now.

Bought this when the modem port on my desktop went bad. It wasn't wifi-enabled, so I bought this adaptor. It worked great. After about six months, I found the internet connection dropping intermittently. I found att the long cord was separating from the unit itself. So, I just separated it from the cord and plugged in the unit directly. No problems. Has worked flawlessly since.

This was the second to the cheapest one and it works great. The speed is good. The only problem is twice it has had trouble connecting to my internet so I just had to uninstall and reinstall the software. However if it persists then I might just try installing the standalone driver to save me the inconvenience and give me a more permanent fix.

I bought this adapter to add the (older) computer in my guest room to my home network. It was truly plug and play; the instructions were easy to follow and the whole process was completed in less than 5 minutes. The unit gets great reception, so there was no fiddling around with positioning during setup, and I've had zero problems with connection or signal strength.
