Q: Is this unlimited? And if not what happens when it runs out of gigabites?
A: You will need to establish a service with a service provider. This is just the equipment and will need to be activated.
Q: can I hook this up to my Verizon phone plan? the hot spots they offer don't look good at all.
A: Yes as long as it is unlocked. Also realize LTE b13 is not available on M1 but it is the main band used by Verizon. This means you probably won’t get the full speed potential.
A: I had verizon, but got tired of running out of internet. Switched to T Mobile with this netgear device and hav'nt looked back
Q: Would this device work on Sprint?
A: No, but since Sprint is part of T-Mobile, if you already have a line of mobile hotspot service (not phone service), or you can add a mobile hotspot line to your existing Sprint lines, contact Sprint customer service (BEFORE you buy this Netgear hotspot) and ask if they'll send you a SIM that can access T-Mobile's network.
A: You can also have get service through Consumer Cellular which runs on ATT & T-Mobile towers. I have no cap on GB use.
