We've been using the Orbi mesh wifi. We have 3 units (router + 2 satellites). I have one in the living room, one downstairs, and one in my office. One advantage of these units is they all have at least 1 port so you can directly connect a computer if needed (ie. Hardwire required by work or computer with no wifi chip). The system was easy to set up and easy to synch with smart devices. I like the app. I have the option to monitor devices remotely from the app and add devices to specific management plans (ie. Kids, always on, etc.) so you can manage internet access as needed. All in all we've enjoyed the Orbi mesh system.

Our older Nighthawk 1900 was having issues keeping connected to everything in the house… After talking with tech and explained what we had in the house.. 1200 sq ft brick ranch with modem in basement tvs up stairs Arlo camera system and Ring door bell.. We were loosing connections all the time.. He recommended this system with the NetGear CM1200 cable modem… Took some effort with help from NetGear tech to get Orbi up and running… Connecting everything in the house was easy… Everything in the house is working and really fast connections… Highly recommend this system…

Very glad I bought this. Fast speed, pictures include speed test taken all over house on my S21 Ultra and on my Xbox using Ethernet on a 400Mbs plan, great coverage. Covers my whole house and yard, even out in my shed, which is over a 100ft. from the placement of one of the satilites in my house

The Orbi Mesh System offers seamless Wi-Fi coverage across large homes, eliminating dead zones and ensuring fast, reliable connections. Its easy setup and strong performance, even in multi-device households, make it a top choice for consistent internet access. Though it’s on the pricier side, the stability and range justify the investment.

Perfect mesh wifi6 coverage for the whole home. I previously had a different brand mesh system but had issues every time there was an ISP internet outage. Not anymore. This was a quick and easy setup and it has security built in. It scans devices as they're added to the home, checks overall security of my network, and gives tips to better secure my network.

Ever since I replaced my previous router with this Orbi, I have had no WiFi issues at all. I have 40 items in my smart home working through this router with no slow downs and instant access to view my cameras. Pretty fast speeds too!

I wish one of the satellites wouldn’t constantly disconnect. They are all within a 750 square-foot one bedroom apartment.

I’ll keep this short & sweet since so many others in these reviews have covered what I want to say. I was excited to pick up this system & I was thinking other reviewers “had to have been doing something wrong” nope, I was the one who was wrong. I thought set up would be as easy as my RBK852 system I have at my fiancé’s house but that couldn’t have been any further from the truth. The router set up process was straight forward but the satellites were brutal. I could not get them to sync & when they did they show “out of sync” on the unit’s web interface. Needless to say I am disappointed & this one will be going back to the store.

Good. I have 1gb internet but doesn’t look like the receiver is getting the full 1gb speed…

Not great speed. Standing right next to the main unit I get 252Mbps which isn't great. With my cable modem standing next to it I was getting 620Mps. For what I paid I was expecting a much faster speed

I've had this about 8 months, and the performance is outstanding. No drops. Coverage everywhere. Speeds of 200+ Mbps up/down anyplace in the house (even faster in some locations). Solved all sorts of connectivity issues we were having. I did have an initial hassle setting it up when the satellites would not show good backhaul status. I had to update the firmware several times, and even reverted the firmware to factory and then upgraded to the latest version to get it to work correctly. There was a firmware update dated within a day or so of me setting this up, and it appeared that the satellites were not receiving the latest version initially, and thus were incompatible with the base unit firmware. But I eventually got it sorted. In the 8 months since I've not touched the configuration at all, and it has survived a couple of power outages without problems. Highly recommended.

These are the second set of Orbis I have used. The first set performed very well until they died. I could have spent more time troubleshooting and reloading the firmware, but the process was tedious and they were old units. So I bought these instead. They aren’t the newest, but they will support most everybody’s needs, even if you have a lot of devices. They offer great speed and like all Orbis, they are easy to deploy and manage. I leverage Netgear Armor, which gives you Bit Defender for your endpoints and works rather well. My home is about 4600 sq ft over 3 floors and I get great coverage everywhere, including out front and in back yard. I have GIG fiber to the home, so I could get better speeds with a newer router, but what many don’t realize is that most of the endpoint devices in your home can’t really take advantage of the higher speeds as their NICs don’t support the latest standards. So if your going to spend a lot more for the latest, be sure your devices can use it.

Highly recommend this router and system for wide range coverage. Coverage is seamless between satellites and speeds are still maintained throughout your coverage area. App to setup system is simple and easy to do.
