PICCOLO ENCOUNTERS is the culmination of a career-long desire to capture the essence of the wealth of experience we have been able to accumulate as musical partners and friends. As varied as their nationalities, diverse as their backgrounds and contrasting as their cultures, the artists on this album share a close bond that which connects these seemingly disparate elements and leads to the creation of Encounters that punctuate the lives of composers and performers alike. The sharing of these experiences with you, the audience, is the special privilege of the musician. These encounters and experiences that we were able to make in the world of music had a decisive influence on the life of Pamela Stahel and led to the creation of this album. It is not only the special perspective of a piccolo player that is important, but above all the special repertoire that makes up the character of this collaboration. Both the selection of the pieces and the performers are decisive. Pamela Stahel plays a Burkart Piccolo Elite XXV. Nicola Mazzanti plays a Keefe Piccolo. Gottfried Silbermann as the greatest organ builder of the Baroque, with a conservative sound ideal, alongside the Romantic era, filled with rich tones and emotional exuberance - a contradiction in itself? No, because in the intensive study of Silbermann's organs, Freiberg's Cathedral Organist Albrecht Koch always found a great affinity for these instruments in romantic music. Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy or Robert Schumann as it's representatives knew and appreciated the Inchexcellent Silbermann Organ.Inch The program on this album thereby takes up two paths on the one hand, works by Johann Sebastian Bach, which in their pathos, their musical intensity, tonal density, and emotional statement can be associated with the Romantic era and it's emotional approach. On the other hand, Romantic organ works by Niels Wilhelm Gade, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger, which can be performed on the Great Silbermann Organ of the Freiberg Cathedral without any problems, as the range of the keyboard allows it.

'Rencontre' is the first recital album of soprano Raquel Camarinha and pianist Yoan Héreau, new signings on Naïve. It crystallizes several years of passionate live music-making for the duo. From Debussy to Poulenc, via Ravel and the all-too rare Delage, we are invited on a journey akin to a game of mirrors between composers, music, poems, characters and performers, that is in turn amorous, dreamlike, mysterious and wonderfully evocative. The Portuguese soprano Raquel Camarinha was born in Braga in 1986. She began her vocal studies in 2000, completed the Secondary Singing Course in 2004, and in 2009 the Undergraduate Course in Music, at the University of Aveiro. In 2011 she took her master's degree at the Paris Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique et Danse, in the class of Chantal Mathias. Winner of several national and international awards, in 2011 she won first prize at the Luísa Todi National Singing Competition in Portugal, as well as the Best Female Performer Award at the Armel Opera Competition in Hungary.
