Since I have a relatively new Samsung refrigerator I don't have a working icemaker and had no choice but to go countertop. I am so happy I did! This thing makes so much ice so fast that I have ran out of bags and freezer space. Pros: As much ice as you can store very quickly, not crazy loud, easy to refill water Cons: Ice needs to be broken after it's made, occasionally new ice wedges in collection tray and trips full tray shut off when it's not actually full. I will never go back to only using a built in icemaker again, highly recommended.

We picked tbis up about a month avo and i wanted to wait to give an accurate review. So far we are extremely pleased with this clear ice maker. We decided to used bottled water instead of tap and so far we have had great savings compared to buying bags of ice. Yes you have to break up the ice when its ready but its very simple. We normally fill a bin in oir freezer and i prefer to get it straight from the maker. It doesn't take up a lot of space on our counter top and runs quiet. I would recomend this to anyo e who asks.

I’m actually an ice fanatic and I absolutely love this clear ice machine. I originally was skeptical about the units claims of amount of ice it makes but it is spot on. I have taken it in our RV for ice production rather than using the onboard refrigerator ice maker with the potable water source. We use gallons of bottled water and it rocks!!! If I had one change to make this the ultimate ice maker … I would somehow use the onboard compressor to freeze the compartment that stored the ice to make it last longer rather than meltdown and remake ice.

Purchsed ice maker ealry Aug and by October started loud noise and ice maker not producing as mich ice. Best buy washed their hands of the issue and now i need to seek help from manufacturer.

easy to use, can make ice cubes in short time, quiet and efficient

Overall pretty good! Silent and fits well in a kitchen or bar. Only complaint is storage is a little small, but other than that great product.

I bought this because the ice maker in my freezer couldn’t make ice quick enough to keep up with me and my girlfriend. This thing is great! It produces ice very quickly. I just fill the tank every morning and it goes all day. The ice is a little wet when i pull the basket out but I’m putting it in the bin in my freezer anyway so it solidifies it no problem. The ice stays cold a lot longer than other ice from other ice makers including my freezer’s ice maker. It is quiet! I only hear the occasional clunk of ice falling into the basket. You do need to make sure that you have at least 6” all around so the device gets air. I have recommended this to my parents whose ice maker is broken.

Nice machine. Very different ice making process from cheaper round non-clear nugget makers. Love the end result / ice this machine makes. A bit small/narrow ice holding area due to larger ice generation area. Don’t especially like the open waterfall area that actually makes the ice. You can easily touch the constantly falling water when scooping out ice. Cubes don’t break apart from each other either when they fall. You need to have a metal scoop ready to break up the fallen ice (a bit inconvenient).

only complaint I have about this ice maker is that the ice cubes tend to fall out as a big connected bar of 24 ice cubes all stuck together. I have to break in half put in a plastic baggie and hit on counter to break apart the individual ice cubes. Other than that . It is a really great ice maker. not too noisy. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE That it makes the ""CLEAR ICE"" Crystal Clear Ice Cubes....

Ice maker works good and was delivered fast but has a dimple in the front bottom corner. It was well packed with styrofoam and plastic corner protectors. It must have taken a significant hit because the plastic was cracked. The box wasn’t punctured so I’m guessing it was dropped on the corner. I’d still recommend buying the item as it works great just unhappy with however it was damaged!

Purchased this ice machine as my Samsung refrigerator is not designed properly to have a functioning ice machine. I use chilled gallon bottled water because I want clear ice. I set it up and run through the gallon in several hours while I'm cooking or watching a movie. Clean up seems to be a problem for the poor reviewers but how hard is it to open up the drain line and wipe clean the insides? I also let it sit out for a few hours with the lids open to make sure it is finishes by air drying. I read a lot of reviews and glad I made this purchase.

Really happy with the purchase of this unit. It has no problem keeping up with multiple guests. The ice is of good quality and clear. It is a little noisy during the ice making cycle but not terribly so. Would of gave it a five if it was a little quieter.

This product turned a skeptic into a believer. I never thought a Compact ice machine could make so much CLEAR ICE in 24 hours it absolutely supplement the ice machine that we have in our brand new refrigerator which seems to be smaller than this wonderful little icemaker. I definitely recommend this product.

What I love: Make ice quickly, easy to use and set up, ice is made quickly. What I hate: The ice does not break up so you have sheets of ice that have to be broken apart

The best purchase ever for Father’s Day gift. Easy clean, easy use to make ice. The cubes are just right to make smoothies or cocktails.

Great ice maker for the price but as all the other reviews, you have to break the small cubes in the tray. One great thing about this is that it continues to re-circulate the water when the ice melts inside, so the need to constantly clean out water and re-fill is not needed if you don't use it frequently.

This machine is fabulous. I used to have an Igloo ice maker that made bullet style ice. It was fine, but wanted to upgrade. The ice is clear, tastes good and it's less noisy. I do use the water from my Britta pitcher. It does come out in sheets of squares that need to be broken up. If you get a bullet style ice maker, the ice comes out separated. However, if you are making ice to put in a bag in your freezer, no matter which style you choose you'll have to smack it on the cupboard (or floor, or whatnot) to separate them. So, there's no difference there. I bought this model because it'll make more quicker. I'm not thrilled with the way the buttons work (i.e. hold it for fifteenth size etc), but overall I'm super-duper happy with it! If you're on the fence, go for this one. Watch some YouTube videos and read the directions so you get good sized cubes.

It’s quiet, quick and the ice is the perfect size. Perfect for making bins of ice to keep in freezer while having the machine as backup ice.
