Nicola Cruz - Siku - VINYL LP

Mutating out of the collaborative practice established on STROBE. RIP, AmnesiaScanner and Freeka Tet are so back with a new dual record project that explores andexplodes norms of music production, songwriting and sonic aesthetics. HOAX is *not*an album and remix released together, but rather, a singular experience unfolding astwo mirroring, mutually-reinforcing (or perhaps deconstructing) records. The Amnesia Scanner InchAS HOAXInch record administers the liquid drip of devastatingballads, wandering mosh-ups and industrial flood lights that we fiend for. But, as withevery AS record it is impossible to mistake the grunged-out doom for nihilism there issimply too much raw emotion, vulnerable narrative and playful experimentation. Withdrums and chaos from Freeka on four InchASFTInch tracks, AS has delivered perhaps theirmost prescient, hopeful and soon-to-be-seminal record of their genre-defining career.

Here we have a real gem of late 60's heavy organ-driven rock!! From 1969, this Washington, D.C. based group of musicians took to the studio to record some really great organ-driven rock and roll. Featuring guest appearances on 2 tracks by the great Danny Gatton, this rare album features both originals and some great covers of the day.

With InchThe Block RevisitedInch, we bring the group back to remind us of that great album and to bridge the gap again, as they did before. This time with an explosive Remix with K-POP's record-breaking newest superstars, JOSHUA, DK & DINO of SEVENTEEN, to duet on their International Sleeper hit InchDirty DancingInch, with a 2023 Remix that stands against anything charting this year! An electronic vibe-shifting Phantogram Remix of the opener InchClick Click ClickInch, and for the first time available on any album, the fan favorite InchComing HomeInch from their 2009 Long Form Video with touching messages from pillars of their families that supported them from Day 1. - With the first time on 2LP and a special Deluxe 1CD Edition, we were able to work closely with founding member Donnie Wahlberg to uncover a trove of never before released remixes and unreleased songs from InchThe BlockInch sessions that fit perfectly in an album that has stood the test of time. Fully Remastered in Hi Resolution sound.
