This DVR records security camera footage directly to its built-in hard drive and plays back through the Night Owl Protect app, a monitor connected to the DVR, or a CMS software on your PC/Mac.

A: Great question! The Night Owl 20-Channel Wired 4K DVR includes: 16 BNC ports for wired analog (CVBS/AHD/TVI/CVI) cameras 4 IP channels reserved for compatible Night Owl Wi-Fi IP cameras So you can connect up to 16 wired BNC cameras and add up to 4 wireless IP cameras, for a total of 20 channels.
