Q: Is the mounting bracket included?
A: Both the tripod collar ring and the tripod collar mounting foot are included with the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Telephoto Zoom Lens.
Q: Is there any lens that compares with this one for a bit cheaper?
A: Yes, in fact there are three of them. I suggest the 70-200 f4 (it's little brother) is an amazingly sharp lens, great VR (one step up from the 70-200) and 80% lighter, however has a heavy duty plastic barrel, which is fine for most shooters, but if you're a pro the metal barrel is a necessity. Working with a D3, D700, D7000 or newer body you should be able to use ISO compensation and not need to pay the extra $1,000 for the f2.8. During a recent trip I shot images of the White House and Washington monument lit up in pitch black with this lens on my D800 that were spectacular (below). The 80-200 f2.8 = Heavier than the 70-200, no VR, 20% slower, no internal motor, BUT (IMHO) the most durable lens Nikon has ever made. However the lack of an internal focus motor will be a problem if you have one of Nikon's lower end DSLR bodies. An incredibly sharp lens (if you absolutely need the f2.8) and can't afford the 70-200 f2.8. If you really need an internal motor, VR and f2.8 there is always an off-brand lens, like this Sigma, however I never recommend off-brand lenses as they're never as sharp and depreciate quickly.
A: No doubt. I use it on my 5300.
Q: Is this USA version or imported version?

Q: How long this will be on sale?
A: undefined
