I wanted to start taking higher quality photos mainly for travel and family, and after some research I decided this would be a nice start at a good price. I’m very much an amateur photographer when it comes to DSLR/mirrorless cameras but this camera is very easy to use! All the buttons and dials seem intimidating at first but a quick review of the manual had me on my way. Understanding the lenses and their uses in combination with different settings will have your photos looking professional. Even just using auto mode makes the pictures come out great. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it so far. I’ve used it on 2 trips already and I’m very happy with the results I got from the shots I took. I did buy a better lens for what I was trying to capture. “Bokeh” and low lighting photos. But the lenses mine came with 70-300mm and 18-55mm are very good to start up with. Overall I am enjoying my purchase and have no regrets. Definitely worth the I vestment if you’re looking to step up your picture game.

Only ever owned my sisters hand me down nikons which have never failed me but I decided I needed to upgrade since I didn't like using mine after using hers every time. Awesome camera, awesome lens. Now I just need to find the time to really read the manual so I can get even better pics!

The only people that are dissing the camera are the ones that haven't bought it. This camera is super fast and the colors and processor are amazing! I was torn between the 7200 and the 7500 but i finally decided on the 7500. The extra card slot is really not an issue, how many cards go bad nowadays? Now that cards are so big you can do both video and still on the same card. The Lens is the best I've ever owned. It's crystal clear and much better than the cheaper kit lens you get in the 5k series. The Touch AutoFocus is sick! what a feature. The body also feels much better than most DSLRs. I couldn't believe how cheap other camera bodies felt (Both Nikon and Canon) The button placement is really good as well. I like the adjustments! This is a camera I will own for at least the next 5 years!

Excellent camera. Lots of functionality and room to grow. Really like the super fast shutter speed and export of RAW files (for later post-processing) in addition to JPEGS. A big improvement over my prior Nikon DSLR, the 3300.

Replaced a canon with this, great pix, video, and easy of use. Lots of features too. It has an app to so your photos upload right to your phone.

I have been a multiple D7xxx owner over the years. The D7500 (in my opinion) is the best yet.

I had a 10 year old Nikon DX5000. I was planning a trip to Ireland and wanted to upgrade for the trip. The newer generation camera with a wide to telephoto lens seemed like a good choice. I was very happy with the portrait settings on the camera, but the wide angle 16-80 lens really did not provide the wide angle results I was hoping for. (This is really my own issue, trying to get by carrying only the one lens.). I would recommend this camera and lens combination for those that do not want to carry a bunch of lenses, and still want very good to excellent results.

I was looking to upgrade to a newer camera as my other sis about ten years old. This camera meets my need to do videos and tutorials for the internet as well as pictures for magazine submissions.

This camera takes some getting used to after using Canon and Sony cameras. I have limited use so far, but I have found the D7500 and 16-80 f 2.8-4 ED VR lens combo capable of producing some very good images, clear, sharp, and very pleasing colors.

Great camera/lens. Still learning how to access/use all of the features. Primary controls (aperture, shutter speed, ISO) easily accessible. Like the two user-defined settings feature.
