A: The Nikon D810A DSLR camera is not suitable for general photography as the image sensor is optimized specifically for astrophotography; making it four times more sensitive to H-alpha red tones than an ordinary DSLR. This makes it ideal for infrared images to be captured. Regarding lens compatibility, this camera has an Nikon F bayonet mount and is fully compatible with AI, AF, AF-S and E-tpe lenses; AF-P type lenses have a limited compatibility and may require a firmware update to be compatible with this camera body.
