Q: why never use a electrical socket below the counter? I can't use on my kitchen island?
A: We are happy to assist you with your inquiry. We do not recommend plugging the unit in below the counter to prevent the risk of someone from grabbing the cord and pulling it off the counter.
A: We put a whole bag of checkers frozen fries in it and still had room. Ninja claims 3 pounds of fries or wings.
Q: Does air fryer contain any nonstick chemicals (pfoa or ptfe) that can be harmful?
A: We would like to inform you that this system is BPA, PTFE, and PFOA free.
Q: what is the difference between bake and roast?
A: Hello, We are happy to assist you with your inquiry regarding the Ninja® 5.5qt Air Fryer. The Bake function is best for creating decedent baked treats and desserts. The Air Roast function turns the unit into a roaster oven. This setting is best for roasted vegetables and meats. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
A: Yes - you don't want these left on, as the unit can get warm/hot. I believe the instructions also indicate that the unit should not have any stickers, etc. (it says "Remove and discard any packaging material, promotional labels, and tape from the unit."). So the labels should be removed before using. I don't know if they would cause an odor if left on, but would just strongly advise against using the unit with them still on.
Q: Does this come with any accessories? If so, what accessories?
A: It comes with a roasting rack and the crisper plate. Pull out the crisper plate before using it for the first time after that it becomes easier to pull out. You can buy any 8" universal accessories and it should fit.
