Q: Why is it called PORTABLE??!!!! Doesn’t it plug into the wall while in use?
A: Great Question! The Ninja Crispi is called “portable” because its PowerPod (the heating and control unit) detaches from the glass containers, making it compact and easy to store or move, even though it does plug into a wall outlet during use. The term refers more to its modular, space-saving design than to being battery-operated or cordless.
Q: Can you make rice or potatoes
A: The Crispi is primarily designed as an air fryer. It is not designed to boil water, pasta, or rice in the traditional sense. It does not have a "steam" or "boil" function, and adding significant amounts of water can be unsafe, as the powerful fan could cause water to splash onto the heating elements. You can make the following potato dishes: Baked potatoes, Roasted potatoes, French fries (fresh or frozen), Potato wedges and Breakfast potatoes.
Q: Do it dehydrate? If not which one does?
A: This model doesn’t include a dehydrate function; however, the Ninja Crispi® Pro does.
Q: Can this crispi 5 in 1 accommodate a 6 quart pan from the pro series if purchased separetly
A: No, the Crispi 5-in-1 cannot accommodate a 6-quart pan from the Pro Series, even if purchased separately.
Q: How much does the unit weigh for the five and one?

Q: Can you adjust to any temperature ?
A: No, you can’t set any temperature freely. Each cooking mode on the Crispi has its own temperature range, and the maximum heat it can reach is 450°F for high-heat crisping.
A: Great question. While this unit doesn’t have a dedicated Roast function, you can use the Bake function as a substitute and adjust your recipe accordingly.
