So we purchased this for one reason and one reason only. Our old pressure cooker was looking a bit, well unsafe and we love to use a pressure cooker. And as a pressure cooker, this is a bit expensive BUT, it does an outstanding job. Unlike the aluminum one we had, we have yet to burn a stew. My biggest fear was that like many kitchen appliances we have it would just sit there and never get used. But I have to say, we have been using it far more than I thought we would. As an air fryer it is superb and makes for some nice fried foods but of course without all the ills of frying. Our holiday prime rib turned out perfect though a touch under done but that is just us getting used to it. A few seconds in the microwave did the trick and the roast was perfect. The unit is nice and quiet with an easy to read, easy to use controls. It is also a breeze to clean. The non-stick pot is really non-stick. That you don't have to change the lid to use the pressure cooker is also a plus. And YES, get the 8qt. We were thinking we could get by with the 6qt cooker but I am glad we decided to go with the larger one. It doesn't really take up any additional space on the counter. Only the height is different. CONs: Well the cookbook could have been better but you can find many recipes on-line but it would have been nice to have a better cook book included. And it comes with only the essential accessories but the price wasn't too bad. You will want to buy some of the extras and not necessarily the Ninja ones. Stainless steel is tricky to get finger prints off so you will want some stainless steel cleaner. Would have preferred a painted one. PS: If you don't have room on your counter, consider a rolling cookbook cabinet. It's perfect. The wife rolls it over to the cutting board and when done over to the sink for cleaning then back up to the wall when done. It's like it was made for the Ninja.

This “Ninja - Foodi 14-in-1 8qt. XL #OL601” is my very first experience with Ninja as brand and device, all my three previous pressure cookers were from Instant Pot and I had no parameter of comparison. Now I’ve both, the “Instant Pot Duo Crisp Ultimate Lid 6qt. #140-0068-01”, over the countertop and I can say that the Ninja is my choice and if it was a showdown, Ninja could win with a way better Airfry capabilities and power. I’d prefer the stainless-steel cooking pot from the Instant Pot, it looks more sturdy and durable comparing with the Ninja, but the SmartLid & the Slider button are practical better than the “Ultimate Lid”, the can-opening-like design from Instant Pot. Daily meals are faster on Ninja than on Instant Pot and we’re trying to replicate receipts on both, but up-to-now all Ninja’s plates taste tasty and meats juicier. This Ninja - Foodi 14-in-1 8qt. XL takes up a serious space on the counter, but it would be worse to store it in, occupying a whole drawer and risking scratching or denting it, so it’ll follow daily on the counter like a high-tech sculpture.

I was looking for a cooker that does multiple tasks for me and happy to say that this cooker does all those very easily. Goods: 1) just put your food in cooker pot, slid with the required options, rotate knob for further selections and you are all set to start 2) whatever you cook, it's easy to clean due to ceramic coated pot 3) I liked it's steam + crisp fiction a lot and used it mostly, and it really works as described. OKs/not really bad: 1) It looks bulky but that's still ok because it's 8 qt capacity 2)we may need to use our judgment when we try to make things crispy, so that those don't get burned - but this is same for all such products over all very happy customer with this purchase.

I have become accustomed to using it almost every day. The oven has been closed for months now. :) You can use the baking function for all types of bread, making it perfect for sandwiches. Salmon turns out great in the air fryer, and the pressure function is excellent for cooking meat and much more. It fits my needs perfectly! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the pot sometimes doesn't stay attached to the bottom of the base, and the screen shows a message to "add the pot." I will contact customer service about that issue.

I purchased it during sale (150) as an upgrade to my 3 years old Ninja foodie. Compared to the old, Pros: 1) all one piece for airfrying and pressure cooking (no need to swap lids). 2) additional settings inlcuding steam cooking with simultaneous broiling or frying making food juicy inside and crispy outside. Cons: extreamly loud and noisy compared to the older version.

recently purchased this pressure pot, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! The build quality is solid, and it feels durable and reliable. It heats up quickly and evenly, reducing cooking times significantly. I’ve used it for soups, stews, and even beans, and each dish turns out perfectly every time. The lid it's a little bit heavy, and the safety features give me peace of mind while cooking. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the pressure settings are simple to adjust depending on the recipe. Clean-up is a breeze as well—everything comes off effortlessly. If you’re looking for a high-quality pressure pot that delivers consistent results, I highly recommend this one. It has made cooking faster and more enjoyable in my kitchen! I just love this multitasking pot!!

This is better than the slow cooker that I’ve had previously as it does so many different things. I was excited to try out dehydrating apples to make apple chips, natural and healthy snacks. I was also able to quickly cooked the rice and other foods like different beefs, vegetables, softens, different squash, And air fry potatoes. It’s wonderful that it can take under 20 minutes and usually about 10 minutes for air frying. I actually cooked some corndog and breaded chicken breast in the air frying setting between 10 and 20 minutes and it came out crispy and not even dehydrated. This machine can do so many different things. It is sturdy and seems very durable. It came with racks and an air fry container. There’s a wonderful heating coil up top and a fan. The pressure valve is easy to turn and it also has a lock for the lid , which does not open when there is pressure and heat on high for protection. I definitely recommend this specific 14 in 1 ninja foodie air fryer, slow cooker, dehydrator steam, cook, multi function machine.

This is one of the best kitchen electrics I’ve ever purchased. Since I bought less than a month ago, I’ve used it more than a dozen times. It has made my life so much easier for cooking.

Brought this about 30 days ago using only a few of the available cooking methods (air fry, bake, broil, pressure cook) to this point. I still have some learning ahead but the unit heats up very quickly. All cooking methods used worked exceptionally well. Based on my limited experience, I have no reason to doubt the others work just as well. Looking forward to using the steam a crisp functions next. It is big (8 qt) and does have to be pulled out from under the cabinets to use but I would buy it again.

I've never had an airfryer or pressure cooker. I cook a lot - stove and slow cooker almost exclusively and am a one-pot meal fanatic. Soups, stews, etc. I wanted to see if there was such a device that did all the things and this does, so I wanted to give it a whirl. I do not like countertop clutter but this is too heavy to store so I forced myself to leave it out and give it a really fair try. One month in I could not be happier. I have successfully made pressure cooked chicken breasts to shred (usually use a slow cooker) in minutes; hard boiled eggs; rice; sous vide shrimp; and all 4 of my regular soups in a fraction of the time. The biggest pro here is versatility and ease of washing. Instead of a heavy enameled cast iron rice pot and my normal soup pot, I make my favorite stuffed pepper soup by cooking rice here, dumping/wiping, then cooking the soup itself. At the end I have one light, non stick pot that's a breeze to wash. I just used the slow cooker setting for the first time and it works the same, but with a substantially lighter pot to wash at the end. I haven't played around with the steam and crisp or whole meal options that this particular device seems to be notable for and only air fried once, but still think it's winner. Pressure cooking, sous vide, and sautee-then-pressure (for soup) alone make this thing worth it.

I bought this item on sale and it’s the best investment I’ve made. It is very convenient and easy to use once you read the manual. The manual is very clear and thorough No machine is hard to use, you just need to use it a few times to get used to it. I love that it comes with many recipes One thing I like about it most is that I can complete other chores while making meals. This is worth the investment.

I enjoyed my Ninja Foodi 14-in-1, 8 quarter kitchen appliance. I was able to cook 5 different dishes fast during Christmas Eve celebration. I love the pressure cooker. Beef were tender and off to the bone in just 30 mins. And the best thing is I got it on sale.
