This is my first amiibo figure that i’ve purchased and have actually unboxed. If you never have seen one in person the quality and attention to detail on these figures are very well crafted. I have a few figures that I decided to keep in box prior to this one for collectors/display piece purposes simply for the fact that they look so amazing. I was going to do the same with this Knight but ultimately decided to open it to see what the functionality of an amiibo is like. Super smooth and does exactly what you expect it to. My only suggestion is when collecting these, if you’re going to unbox and actually use amiibos for gaming purposes... do research on what’s all entailed with using the figure with the game it is intended for. Some figures actually function with a multitude of games and just for that alone imo makes these worth every penny. Being able to physically interact with your beloved video games just adds extra excitement/fun to your already favorite titles! Don’t hesitate on grabbing amiibos either because wether you believe what I say or not, these figures don’t stick around for long!

Beautiful Golden Shovel Knight to add to the collection. I wish Nintendo would do a whole Gold line. Just had to get it. Who knows if they will ever bring the Golden Amiibos out again. Get it if you can!

This was exactly what I wanted and more! This was the final shovel knight Amiibo I needed to complete the collection and it doesn’t disappoint! It is exactly what you think, a shovel knight Amiibo but GOLD! It does everything the normal shovel knight Amiibo does. I highly recommend this item if you don’t already have the normal shovel knight Amiibo. If you do already have the normal one, and your a shovel knight fan, then this is a must have! Disclaimer: Just like King Knight’s crown, it is not real gold.

And I don’t know why! This is a great addition to any amiibo collection. Highly recommended for any fan of the series.

It is a Gold Shovel Knight Amiibo, of course I am going to get it!!

I would say any Amiibos are well made and even better if in box or out on Display. There is nothing like them out there that can be used in-game or just displayed on the shelf. Even if you don't get it the price for them make them all the worth while to have. They are limited and some are no longer made so if your looking buy when they are less otherwise by from over priced sites. Each Amiibos when scanned will either give your Bonus or Extras based on the games they are made for and for others give you extras.

So fun fact, the plural for amiibo is amiibo, just learned that one writing this review. I don't regularly collect amiibo, only the ones I really care about. The set of three and gold shovel knights that recently came out are of a great quality. It's subjective, but I like the poses and the detail put into them as well (which is pretty consistent for most amiibo). I received the set of 3 in the mail, and picked this gold one up in store (Don't ask me why, I don't have a good answer) and received both in flawless condition. If you keep yours in the packaging, this is a huge plus.

The new amiibos these days have such good quality and intricate designs to them. I recommend everyone who wants to collect to start now while they are being made or else you'll miss out and then scalpers will price them way way way above $12-$15. The female corrin amiibo is about $80; don't ever buy it at that price. And sometimes months down the line, they do go on sale so keep an eye out.

ITS. SO. GOLDEN! Glad that I was on top of ordering this while I could! Wish the availability of amiibo weren’t so sporadic and unpredictable. I recommend always just buying them when you can if you see one you like. I held off on some because of money and now can’t find them anywhere except ebay/Amazon being sold for way too much.

As a fan of the original game I picked up the gold edition amiibo when it released. The detail is similar to the original amiibo though the gold paint on this amiibo looks great as a collectible. Personally I likely won't use mine in game and will likely keep it on my shelf in my collection.

Looks great. One thing that's a bummer is that it looks like for this run, they included an nfc shield on the base so you can't use the amiibo while it's still in the box. If I recall, the regular shovel knight amiibo let you use the amiibo while still packaged.

Love this thing! With a high quality look it stands out on the shelf. I wish the other Amiibo's had the same efforts that they put into this Gold Knight. I wouldn't hesitate, I'm sure this will be a collectors item, tempted to buy another.

I’m not a big fan of the gold paint jobs on amiibo’s, But the original shovel knight is out of print and hard to find. This works the same way as the original therefore making it a must own for those who have the game. Highly recommend.

This is by far one of the best amiibo around! While I've liked previous gold amiibo, they're usually all one flat color. I love how this one uses different metallic shades of gold to really make it stand out. Bravo, Yacht Club. Bravo!

If you like Shovel Knight then this is a cool looking amiibo to showcase it with. I like how the horns stand out, and the entire amiibo isn't entirely gold like some of the other gold amiibo so it has some contrast to it.

If you’re a Shovel Knight fan and have the game for Switch, I highly recommend this Amiibo. It’s a fun addition to any collector’s shelf and looks sleek On display. Add in the in-game benefits, and it’s even better!

If you're a long-time fan of Shovel Knight like I am (I have the game downloaded on five separate consoles), then this gold amiibo is a real treat to commemorate the long-awaited completion of the "Treasure Trove" DLC. Its functionality is the same as the regular blue Shovel Knight amiibo that was released a few years ago, but the gold color scheme with brown highlights makes this one a real standout in your collection. It's unfortunate that, even given the simplicity of the coloring, the paint jobs on a lot of these figures came out surprisingly sloppily, so I had to buy a few before I got one I was happy with. But either way, it's a great special edition figure that shouldn't be missed by amiibo collectors and Shovel Knight fans!

This is a cool gold version of the original Shovel Knight Amiibo. Looks super cool and is a nice addition to the other Shovel Knight Amiibos. Would definitely recommend it if you're a fan of the series.

I have been collecting amiibos since their beginning. This is one of the coolest ones to date and will become a highly valued collectible in the years to come. Highly recommend for Nintendo fans.
