Originally released in 2002, Nirvana was a collection that featured hits and fan favorites as well as the rare and previously unreleased studio version of InchYou Know You're Right,Inch the last song the band ever recorded, available exclusively on this compilation. Nirvana was released following the settlement of a long-standing legal dispute between Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, and surviving Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl. Much of the dispute centered around the song InchYou Know You're RightInch which was recorded during the band's final studio session, in January 1994. Nirvana was the third Nirvana album to be released following the death of singer/ guitarist Kurt Cobain in April 1994, and the first to feature studio material. Album Tracks 1. Limited picture vinyl LP pressing of this 1992 album, released to coincide with the album's 20th Anniversary. Pi*ed off and angry is the best way to describe Rage Against the Machine's first album. A fierce mix of hip-hop, punk & heavy rock exploded all over the music scene in 1992. At first sight an unlikely band; Tom Morello, a nerdy guitar hero who played his guitar like a DJ, political activist Zack de la Rocha who spitted out his lyrics with a vengeance. Together with Brad Wilk on drums and Tim C. on bass they produced one of the most angry records of 90's. The album even contained, dare we say it, hit singles like 'Killing in the name of' and 'Bullet in the head'. Put the needle on the record and get blown away (again)! Album Tracks 1. Bombtrack 2. Marking the 20th Anniversary of Nirvana's debut album, Sub Pop re-issued the Platinum Certified Bleach on November 3, 2009. This expanded CD/double-LP includes a never-before-released live performance, special packaging. Originally recorded over three sessions with producer Jack Endino at Seattle's Reciprocal Recording Studios in December 1988 and January 1989, Bleach was released in June of '89 and remains unequivocally/unsurprisingly Sub Pop's very favorite Nirvana full-length. The album initially sold 40, 000 copies, but was brought into the international spotlight following the and worldwide success of their 1991 sophomore effort, Nevermind. Subsequently Bleach went on to sell 1.7 million copies in the US alone, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This 20th Anniversary Edition has been re-mastered from the original tapes at Sterling Sound in a session overseen by producer Jack Endino. This edition includes an unreleased live recording of a complete February 9th, 1990 show at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon. The show features performances of InchLove Buzz, Inch InchAbout a GirlInch and a cover of The Vaselines' song InchMolly's LipsInch and has been re-mixed from the original tapes by Endino (complete track listing below). A 52-page CD /16-page LP booklet which includes candid photos of the band not previously released to the public is also included in this deluxe edition.
