El Michels Affair & Black Thought treat us to an unstoppable new 45. Pulling two standout tunes from their forthcoming Glorious Game record. The A side features the album's title track InchGlorious GameInch, a bouncy, in the pocket tune that lands somewhere between G Funk and Outkast's Spottieottiedopealicious. Black Thought raps about trials of fame and respect but also being the best version of oneself while balanced by patience. KIRBY jumps in on the chorus with her distinct voice and luscious melodies putting the song comfortably at home in the speakers of a Cadillac. The B Side InchGratefulInch is a thick, low-end banger with a haunting flute line, and a sample of Shabba Ranks InchTing-A-LingInch that sends the message that class is in session. Black Thought's verses lay heavy in the way we've come to love cadences that walk a line between street teacher and poet, explanation and experience. He pays homage to what's come before him and how it's made him with lines like InchI guess the moral of the story is, any sip you pour me is, a toast to the warriors who bit the dust before me, kid.Inch Die hard fans may also recognize the instrumental from the late great Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton 2022 Fashion Show video.

With their fourth album InchCosmocratorInch, Khnvm are entering a downward spiral into the abyss of the human experience. The death metal brainiacs explore the crossroads of psychology, philosophy, and spirituality. The album title InchCosmocratorInch carries a dual significance. It symbolises the InchRuler of the WorldInch and, within religious vocabulary, also stands for InchSatanInch. This reflects the album's exploration of common phenomena, expressed through an adrenaline-fueled artistic lens. With the thought-provoking lyrics and harsh yet to the point musicality of InchCosmocratorInch, Khnvm promise not to just deliver on musical terms but also to captivate those who are drawn to complex narratives and philosophical depth. Khnvm are a death metal band that has walked the line between old school death metal and contemporary influences without stumbling. Fronted by Bangladeshi-born guitarist and vocalist Obliterator, the band was founded and is firmly based in Germany. When Khnvm entered the scene with their debut album InchForetold Monuments of FleshInch on Testimony Records in 2019, they were immediately met with acclaim both from critics and fans alike. In the wake of the second album, InchPortals to OblivionInch (2021), Khnvm began to perform live. Meanwhile, Khnvm have toured, entered stages at many festivals, and played headliner and support shows across Europe. With InchCosmocratorInch, Khnvm offer a dual approach The easy way is to enjoy the album simply for it's outstanding musical merit. Yet there is also the far more winding path to take with it's intricate lyrics and rich thoughts to be analysed, explored, and discussed for many years to come - and new meanings to be found as well as discoveries of fresh ideas to be made with each new turn!
