About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. For over 30 years the reigning kings of punk rock have remained relevant by continuing to push the boundaries of their music, lyrics and good taste in a way that's as endearing as it is infectious. For that reason it's remarkably apt that the band's latest LP First Ditch Effort is also their thirteenth because ominous black clouds hang over this collection of songs that see frontman/bassist Fat Mike exploring self-loathing and mortality in a more raw and honest way than he ever has before. Despite the fact that NOFX helped invent melodic punk music (alongside their longtime peers such as Bad Religion and Rancid), they've never made the same album twice and First Ditch Effort sees them continuing to push their own musical boundaries. The band also prove that they haven't lost their innate ability to craft a hook on First Ditch Effort as the conspiracy theory-rich InchSid And NancyInch and self-reflective rocker InchI Don't Like Me AnymoreInch are two of the band's catchiest tracks to date. Fat Mike also credits producer Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Alkaline Trio) for helping make these songs so dynamic. Seriousness and somberness also lie at the core of First Ditch Effort, a fact that's most evident in Mike's musical eulogy to No Use For A Name's frontman Tony Sly (InchI'm So Sorry TonyInch) as well the apocalyptic closer InchGeneration ZInch which features guest vocals from Mike's 11-year-old daughter Darla. It's First Ditch Effort's darkest moments that help make it the perfect soundtrack to both a fresh start as well as the end of the world.

NOFX's fourteenth full-length studio album, Single Album comes complete with a six-minute post-hardcore opener, a meta send-off for the band's best-known song, and even a piano ballad. Recorded at San Francisco's Motor Studios with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Teenage Bottlerocket), the 10-song collection has been described as InchunpredictableInch and the band's Inchmost personalInch to-date. InchI wanted to make a perfect double album, and I didn't accomplish that. So I decided to just make a single album, hence the title,Inch says Fat Mike. Move over Punk in Drublic, there's a new sheriff in town!

Vinyl LP pressing. Half Album is the final chapter to NOFX's epic double album. The songs that comprise this EP - as well as it's two predecessors, were all recorded at the same time. Half Album is not simply the leftover songs from this session, but rather an integral part that ties the entire project together.

You can't overstate how big of a deal NOFX is for punk rock. They combined catchy music with smart, funny, and offensive lyrics that fans loved. They basically created the sound of '90s California punk and made it possible for the next wave of bands like Green Day and The Offspring to get huge. This LP is volume one of a collection of rarities, demos,& unreleased versions of NOFX songs - one for each letter of the alphabet. InchBarcelonaInch was originally conceived 12 years ago and is the newest and last NOFX song written and recorded post-NOFX's final shows.Vinyl color Black
