NOFX - Punk in Drublic - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Heavy Petting Zoo is the sixth from this humorous punk band. Even though NOFX doesn't take themselves too seriously (previous album titles include I Heard They Suck Live and Punk in Drublic), their musicianship does not reflect this attitude. Imagine Green Day with tighter, faster rhythms and competent guitar solos. That paints a pretty good picture of what NOFX is about. Tracks include InchHobophobic,Inch InchPhilthy Phil PhilanthropistInch and InchDrop the World.Inch Album Tracks 1. Hobophobic (Scared of Bums) 2. Philthy Phil Philanthropist 3. NOFX's fourteenth full-length studio album, Single Album comes complete with a six-minute post-hardcore opener, a meta send-off for the band's best-known song, and even a piano ballad. Recorded at San Francisco's Motor Studios with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore (Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Teenage Bottlerocket), the 10-song collection has been described as InchunpredictableInch and the band's Inchmost personalInch to-date. InchI wanted to make a perfect double album, and I didn't accomplish that. So I decided to just make a single album, hence the title,Inch says Fat Mike. SELF ENTITLED is NOFX's twelfth studio full-length, yet it feels as potent as any material they've released. Rather than drifting off into a land of forgettable and mindless rehashes of their older material l like many other veteran acts, NOFX approached SELF ENTITLED with a reinvigorated virility. The twelve tracks fully embrace the hostile early LA punk sound while maintaining just the right amount of that trademark technical and melodic sound that NOFX is renowned for. Their hallmark sound and style matched with their ability to keep things fresh is unparalleled among their peers. SELF ENTITLED is a testament to these qualities and is yet another credit to the legacy. Album Tracks 1. 72 Hookers 2. I Believe in Goddess 3. Ronnie & Mags 4. She Didn't Lose Her Baby 5.
