Nomatic - Mckinnon Camera Backpack 21L - Black

I am a Best Buy Employee, and had the opportunity to use the camera backpack/Cube. This camera backpack is a good compliment to the full size Nomatic - Mckinnon camera bag. It is perfectly sized to fit into the camera bag, as a camera cube. I was able to fit a Mirriorless body and 1 lens in the camera compartment of the bag, it does come with the dividers, however i opted not to use them. The top of the pack opens up to un-fold as a back pack, which was perfect as a personal item on a flight, as well as just walking around town taking pictures. This is not your everyday camera bag, but it perfect when you need to bring 1-2 lenses, and a few items with you for a day out. However as a camera cube, it also fits inside most backpacks to allow you to keep your gear protected

I fit my Sony A-series DSLR body and 1-2 medium zoom lenses and even sometimes a smaller lens as well in the bottom part, and put the whole thing (compacted down) in my personal size luggage. When I reach my destination, I use it as my daily walkabout bag. It is unassuming (doesn't scream I have expensive gear in here) and lightweight, and actually fits quite a bit when expanded. I put an entire Peak Design travel tripod in the body of the bag as well as my other essentials like a light jacket, hat, etc... It is easy to fold up and reasonably durable. It is not very water resistant, but will withstand light rain and you can always throw a cover on it. It also looks "bulky" with things like tripods in it, as it takes the shape of the items inside the bag. Despite the sometimes awkward look, it is surprisingly comfortable to wear all day travelling (just do not overstuff). I absolutely love this bag, and even bought a second one for when the first wears out as I am always concerned about my favourite gear being discontinued. I hope this is available for years to come!

Good concept but the camera cube is not deep enough to hold anything. I couldn’t fit my Nikon Z7ii without the lid bulging. Don’t even think about having anything longer than a 24-70 lens either. Just not practical. No padding of any sort on the straps either.

The design is just amazing. The quality is good. the only thing is there is no enough space if your camera is full frame and if you have more than 3 lenses. If you are a beginner this is a perfect backpack for you.

Loved the bag until randomly the strap unthreaded and broke. Thankfully I was able to have my mother fix it. Besides that it's lightweight and convenient.
