About this product
Richard Linklater's valentine to cinematic rebellion reimagines the birth of the French New Wave as a restless, seat-of-the-pants caper. Jean-Luc Godard (Guillaume Marbeck) takes a story spark from François Truffaut (Adrien Rouyard) and turns Paris into a laboratory where rules are made to be broken. The production delights in the chaos of creation-actors finding themselves in front of a camera that refuses to behave. A playful, affectionate origin myth told with Linklater's trademark curiosity; French with English subtitles.
