I bought it because it has stainless steel pot and i thought its big. I like it because it came with a rice paddle and rice cup. It tricks you because it says 14 cups of rice but when you read the details it only says 7 cups of uncooked rice.

This is a medium size rice cooker. I almost ordered the smaller one and would have been disappointed. We used to cook rice 1 cup (pre-cooked) at a time and now do 3 to 4 times more. It goes up to 7 cups if we have guests. It does not save time but cooks rice well. We go with brown rice which is part of the reason it takes longer. Stainless steel & steamer basket makes it a great value. Some of you will want to pay more for chef performance rice but if you don't have a couple of hundred dollars for a rice cooker then I think you can get it done with this.

Rice tastes great, but don't expect to eat it quickly. Brown rice takes over 1 1/2 hours! It's also strange that there's only one water scale in the pot since brown rice requires more water than white rice. It's also a bit unstable with only 3 legs. If you can look beyond these things, and that it's not inexpensive, it's a good rice cooker.

The build quality was good but the rice was sticking to stainless steel pot. We have tried different water levels but a layer of rice always stuck at the bottom. It is dishwasher safe don't need to scrub and all but it is not something we wanted.

This product is nice, I like the way it works but it’s falsely represented as to size, I could only make 4 cups of rice with it, I do not know why they say 14 cups when it obviously can’t make 5 cups.
