A: The traditional home theater layouts are designed to share the middle armrests. A straight row of 4 seats with middle loveseat looks like this: IOIOOIOI (where "I" is an armrest and "O" is a seat). The common way to build this layout is by using the following 4 seats IO + IO + OI + OI. Since the seats are modular, this would allow you to separate into 2 loveseats - IOOI and IOOI. You could also build it as IOI + O + O + IOI, but if you separated the 2 middle seats, you would have a loveseat without armrests at the end, which is not a common setup.
