About this product

Debut album of 23-year-old UK artist Oliver Spalding. As with his debut EP InchUnfurlInch (2017), the album was written and recorded with producer Ed Tullett (Novo Amor).Built around Spalding's staggeringly beautiful voice, the record is full of melodic, immediate songwriting and arresting electronic production.Asked about his choice of title, Spalding explains, InchTo be melancholy all year round is to suffer from Novemberism.Inch And indeed, these 11 tracks are woven together with a common thread of heavyheartedness. Even the more upbeat songs, like title track InchNovemberismInch and InchBow CreekInch, which drive and glisten with intoxicating pop hooks and 80s era synths, recall the darker undercurrents of classic New Order.Says Spalding, InchThe album focuses on a certain period of time in my life and the things that happened around me. My honesty in songwriting is key. The aim of this album was to be raw and emotional. Emotions are scary and no one wants to face them, and that's what I wanted the album to feel like - something that is uncomfortable but also beautifully revealing.Synthesizers feature heavily across the record, including single InchBow CreekInch, where iridescent synth stabs and rich strings wash over a hazy, late-night London. Lincoln - Repair & Reward - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. The long-awaited, long-overdue anthology of one of the more influential and revered post-hardcore bands of the early 1990s. Out of print and unavailable for over 25 years, all songs have been newly mixed from the original master tapes by J. Robbins (Jawbox).

Agriculture - The Spiritual Sound - CASSETTES

There's a kind of quiet violence in how music is consumed today-flattened into background noise, sonic perfume fed into algorithms, sold as lifestyle. It's entertainment as anesthesia. Sound without the weight. The Spiritual Sound, the new full-length from Los Angeles-based band Agriculture, stands as a pointed refusal of this condition. This is not a playlist. This is not a vibe. It is a demand.Across it's runtime, The Spiritual Sound traces a narrative arc through extremes searing, sky-cracking catharsis on side A; a slow-burning, devotional undercurrent on side B. The album is largely a fusing of the visions of it's two principal songwriters, Dan Meyer and Leah Levinson distinct voices, deeply complementary.Meyer writes like someone clawing toward the divine through noise, channeling Zen Buddhism, historical collapse, ecstatic grief. Levinson's songs move differently grounded in queer history and AIDS-era literature, amid the suffocating fog of the present, they carry the weight of survival as daily ritual. Her writing asks how to honor queer community and collective struggle without turning it into identity branding or personal mythmaking how to stay honest, how to stay present. Though distinct, their voices converge in a singular spiritual grammar-one that defines the totality of The Spiritual Sound, not as separate parts, but as one unified expression.Agriculture's formation mirrors this duality. What began as a loose collaboration between Kern Haug and Dan Meyer in the Los Angeles noise scene evolved into a shared pursuit of the sublime through heavy music. With the additions of Richard Chowenhill and Leah Levinson, the project solidified into the band's current form. The ecstatic black metal foundation was laid on 2022's The Circle Chant, expanded into something more precise and far-reaching on their 2023 self-titled full-length, and deepened further with

Marc Hanta - Le Heureux Moments - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Happy moments promises us the title of the CD. It is no coincidence. What so fascinates the pieces Hotteterre is the inner balance of the pieces, all of which are thought nothing of the flute ago. The instrument, which the composer dedicated himself not only as a performer and composer, but also as an author of the first flute school at all and as a luthier. With so much expertise, coupled with inspiration and elegant charm, it certainly remains not only happy InchmomentsInch.
