Q: Can I use this plugged into my phone while filming for YouTube? My phone volume is not high enough to catch my voice.

A: If your phone has an audio jack or you have a dongle to allow for an audio jack connection, yes, it will most definitely help make your audio sound of way higher quality. Less ambient noise, due to the noise cancellations capabilities, overall a perfect price and addition to your YouTube videos.

Q: Is there an adapter to go from a TRRS plug to a TRS plug for devices that do not have separate earphone and microphone jacks?

A: Olympus Does not Offer One. I am not sure If Best Buy does. Please be care about what you order there are various combinations that sound the same. You will need a "Female TRS to Male TRRS adapter" to connect an Olympus Microphone to a Cell phone or any device that has a shared Mic/Earphone port

Q: Can I use the Olympus-Lavalier Microphone on the Apple SE 2020 iPhone? Can I also buy an adaptor so I can get a longer cord? Thank you.

A: Olympus Lavalier Microphones are not designed for use with Mobile phones and have not been tested on mobile phones.

Q: How long is the cord?

A: approximately 39 inches

Q: If I use it as a lapel mic plugged in to my Galaxy S7e will I get feedback from the built-in mic? Will this mic's noise cancellation eliminate the feedback?

A: This does not work with cell phones that only have a mic jack. Also this item is not what Best Buy sends you when you order it. The picture shows Model ME-52, which has a different jack that is susposed to work with the phones,, but Best Buy actually sends Model ME-52W,,, same sku number,,, Buyer beware. This does not work with my samsung new phone.

Q: I’m recording a short documentary and I have to interview people is it pretty easy to hook up and use I’m an amateur?

A: Yes, for me this works perfectly for that. However, if your camera doesn't have a microphone input, you'll need a separate sound recorder with a mic input to use. (I couldn't get it to work with my camera anyway.) Then you'll need to put the audio file and the video file together in a video editor. Also, in case you're wondering, the microphone only records in mono, not stereo. So you may need to convert it to stereo if that is important.
