I bought it to mainly use as a general slightly longer (than a 25mm MFT lens) all around use lens. The price is rather incredible for such an amazingly sharp lens. The macro feature is no more than a plus to me. I use this lens for landscape and general photography because it is so sharp and has a very flat field. It is sharp wide open (yes you can get some nice "Bokeh" and even better stopped down just a bit. It is also an ideal street photography lens that gives one a bit of distance between yourself and your subject, something I prefer so as not to be intrusive. It's like $300 and periodically goes on sale for about $50 less. Watch for the sale and snatch one up. You won't be disappointed. Oh! And it does macro quite nicely too.

The Olympus 30mm macro mirrorless lens, is a fun and high quality lens that has given me a great deal of happiness! The lens arrived at the store sooner than expected, which gave me even more time to enjoy it. The photos are crisp and completely fulfill my expectations for the lens!

Love this lens for macro work plus it’s about a 60mm in micro four thirds so can be used for portraits.

I bought this for Macro work but also to digitize my slides. Works well and delivers excellent results.
