Q: Is the battery sealed inside the camera
A: Yes and no. It uses an olympus Li-92b Battery. Which is removeable and replaceable. However it is sealed by the battery door which provides water resistance and allows the camera to be used underwater. So it is sealed, but easily removable.
A: 50 feet without the PT-056 case. With it you can go to 150 feet.

Still great! Need a holding apparatus
I love this camera. I have owned one before. I see there still is not good way to hook it up for action. I think this cam is better than Go pro except go pro can be out of your way. This is the best and I’m happy with color too. I think Yellow is still best for underwater or brighter colors to find in case you drop it under there.

Perfect for Inspectors
I use this camera everyday! Perfect for home inspections as the file size is around 700k, the pictures are crisp, the rugged build has put up with 2 years and 80k pictures. Its been dropped, used for pool inspections. I bought a exterior lens shutter and additional batteries.
