We installed a portable AC vent in our window and needed this in order to leave the window open but still be able to monitor it without having to bypass. This does the job and the price was right.

Worked like a charm. This was a replacement part for my Ring window sensor contact. The original one was thrown away by mistake so ibordered this and placed it where the old one was and it worked without any issue.
