Q: Do I have to buy a osmo starter kit for both my children or can they both play the 1?
A: If each of your children have their own iPad, then you will need a starter kit for each child/iPad. The starter kits include a stand and camera mirror that is required for the Osmo apps to work correctly. If you only have one iPad, then a single starter kit will suffice. You can purchase additional apps separately. They will use the stand and camera mirror from the starter kit.
Q: can't I just use a dry erase board instead of purchasing a $50 "Creative Board"?
A: Yes you can. There’s nothing special about the one that comes w the set beyond it’s probably sized to the play area. So, I would probably tape off a section the size of a white piece of paper and have my kid draw in that space.
