Otem Rellik - Elephant Graveyard - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

40th Anniversary Edition. In the first two decades of the 21st century, few have controlled the cultural weather quite like Stephen and David Dewaele. The Dewaeles are familiar to millions as 2manydjs, a project which undoubtedly moved the needle for modern DJing. The Belgian brothers-in-arms are also known to many as electronic/indie rock band Soulwax, the adored group whose combination of rock, rave and gleaming white suits has proved irresistible to record buyers and festival-goers from the 1990s to the present day. In 2002, after a string of creative broadcasts on radio while still known primarily as a rock band, they released As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt. 2. This was a mix so giddy, creative, genre-blurring and downright fun that it could only be considered equal to a full-length album - which is exactly what happened, tallying Album of the Year and Album of the Decade accolades from the likes of The New York Times, Spin, The Face, Pitchfork and more, and shifting over half a million copies globally. To celebrate this 20th anniversary, As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 is now reissued featuring Richard Young's iconic original photography

Having rocked raucous live crowds with the best of the indie Hip-Hop world (KRS-One, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, de la Soul, Wu-Tang Clan & more), Randam Luck now prep for their sophomore album on Babygrande Records. With guest appearances from Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks), ILL Bill & Big Left (La Coka Nostra), Planetary (of Outer space), Reef the Lost Cauze (Army of the Pharaohs) & many more, Randam Luck's GRAVEYARD SHIFT is the next phase in the evolution of hardcore indie underground hip-hop.

2010 , the long-awaited follow-up to the acclaimed Copia, Eluvium takes a courageous creative leap with Similes, an album featuring key elements previously uncharted by Eluvium percussion, a verse-chorus song structure, and singing. For a celebrated experimental musician, it was just about the bravest and scariest direction to go. In this way, Similes is the most truly experimental Eluvium album yet, and the most accessible.
