I returned this case because it’s bulky, wide, and didn’t get great protection ratings when compared to 40 other iPhone cases on the market for the iPhone 17. I’ve owned several Otterbox Defenders over the years but wanted to get the best proven and statistically protective case I could. I feel that Otterbox has notoriety, but lacks the data to outshine competitors. After doing hours of research, to include watching MobileReviewsEh on YouTube, I found the Caudabe Sheeth offered far more protection (data proven), was sleeker, and fit better in my hand. I returned the Otterbox and kept the Caudabe. To its credit, the case is grippy on the sides. However, that’s where my praise ends. Don’t get me wrong—it’s not a bad case, just not the best case for the money. On that note, it retails for $79. I found it on sale in a BestBuy store for $55. Three days later, I found it online at BestBuy for $47. I didn’t have any coupons or points, this is just the range the case fluctuates in. For that, again, I think you’re paying more for the brand name and less for the actual protection.

This is the best cell phone case I have ever had! It provides excellent protection for my new iphone 17 Pro but is not as bulky as my previous cases which means it slips into my 5th pocket perfectly. The charging slot is covered by a small pull to open feature which keeps debris out. Oh, and my phone was dropped from about 6 feet on to my concrete driveway the day I installed it and the phone was undamaged and I couldn't find even a scratch on the case. Definitely 5 stars!

Great case, except the plastic part on the back scratches easily and always feels slimy. I still really like the case and would suggest others buy it.

Comfortable to hold and slip resistant. Clean lines with classic, no frills look. I think it will do a good job of protecting the phone.

I love the defender cases and the xt pro is great because it's clear and feels slimmer. I give this case to my kids and wife who constantly drop their phones and they're always protected and have never broken (knock on wood)

Honestly have used this case with the past three phones I’ve had. Can’t beat otterbox quality. Protective, sleek, and not too bulky.

This 2 piece phone case protects my phone well. It is a little chunky but that’s the price you pay for good protection. The bumpers make it easy to hold and protect the phone from drops and dings

It’s pretty durable, not too bulky, and BB had the cheapest price around. Still able to highlight your phones color. Maybe recommend getting a screen protector for scratches tho

Love the case shows off my phone but gives the phone great protection

Iphones r so expensive now, it does not make sense to buy a cheap cover. This has rubber like raised edge for a really good grip. No more slick edge that lets the phone squirt out of your hand. Drop resistant it says, have not tried it lol. Also got the Best Buy screen protector. These have lifetime guarantee. Had them before on the old phone and i think i got the screen protector replaced 2x for free when they got scratches up.

Case feels good not too bulky. The cover for the charging port is great to avoid getting junk in there.

Nothing compares to this case. Last 10 years I’ve been using this exact one and never damaged a phone. They have all these cool colors for this phone and this case at least shows it through the back. I also need a clip for the phone but noticed it’s difficult to find one. Well , back of the box it says free clip after purchase.

It was a bit of a challenge to install but it works well.

Excellent quality and protection. I have dropped the phone in the parking lot and had no damage to the phone or the case. I recommend Otter Box.

It seems like it will protect my wife's phone adequately. It was recommended by the sales person at Best Buy. BUT, it seems to interfere when charging with the Magsafe - it is difficult to line up properly. I hadn't done my research on phone cases before going to the store. After doing some research I bought a different brand for my phone.

We have tried other brands with past phones and a lot of them are good protectors and others have style and very little protection. So we shopped for an Otterbox and found the Defender Series Pro XT. This case is very strong but surprisingly not bulky. It fits in her purse and in my pockets. That plus the protection value makes it a good choice.

This hardshell case for my new Apple phone is perfect. It allows me to charge my Apple phone without removing the case.
