Good, stable lamp with several brightness levels.

A very good lamp. Several easy to control levels of brightness. The brightest being extremely bright. The base is heavy enough to give it great stability and the flexible neck with the multi-directional bulb housings make the lamp really useful. The attachable stand is not so good since does not lock into place and thus is not particularly useful - which doesn't bother me whatsoever. The USB plug in is a nice extra.

    Great Floor Lamp

Best floor lamp I’ve ever owned. Love the ability to dim the light, change the direction if the light and charge my iPad on a convenient tray holder. Planning on buying another one.

Questions & Answers

  • The previous question was not whether there is a usb port. That is known. It was whether the device holder must be attached. Does the lamp even include the device holder?

Device holder is not integral to the lamp, it clamps on. It is stacked last and is not required.

    Answered by Tomas

  • Is the book/tablet stand removeable?

You can leave it off with no issues.

    Answered by Tomas

  • do you have to attach the phone. tablet holder to lamp?

No. It clamps on and lamp works without, no issues.

    Answered by Tomas

  • How long is the plug cord? Can 2 lights alternate turn on or has to be both on at the same time?

Despite the claim by OttLite Customer Service, I see no way to control the lights individually. They are both controlled by a single switch, with 4 brightness levels.
