Chicago's Mike Kinsella continually reinvents and refines the musicianship that has followed him since his drumming days in Cap'n Jazz over a decade ago. I DO PERCIEVE is no different the follow-up to 2004s THE EP continues the collaborative direction Mike has been taking with Owen. This time, cousin Nate Kinsella (Make Believe, Joan of Arc) lends asssistance both on instrumentation and soundboard, helping to create eight grogeous cuts above and beyond anything Owen has done before. While the poetic songwriing and intricate musicianship of previous remain, upbeat arrangements accompany each song's development, culminating in an effect that's both majestic and wonderful. Album Tracks 1. Who Found Who's Hair in Who's Bed 2. Note to Self 3. Playing Possum for a Peed 4. That Tattoo Isn't Funny Anymore 5. Put Your Hands on Me, My Love 6. She's a Thief 7. Bed Abuse 8. I Got High 2. Blues to Black 3. Love Is Not Enough 4. Coffin Companions 5. The Burial 6. Bad Blood 7. Who Cares? 8. A Fever 9. Where Do I Begin? 10. Vivid Dreams

Best known for his Variations on a Nursery Theme for piano and orchestra, the Hungarian composer Erno Dohnányi also wrote two published Symphonies, two Piano Concertos and two Violin Concertos, all of which have been undeservedly neglected. The rarely heard Violin Concerto No. 1, notable for its Brahmsian slow movement, combines virtuosity and lyricism. Written in the mould of the great Romantic violin concerto, and with an unmistakably Hungarian flavor, the superbly orchestrated and remarkably inventive Violin Concerto No. 2 (1949-50) is worthy of being ranked alongside the Concertos by Barber and Korngold. Album Tracks 1. Molto Moderato, Maestoso E Rubato 2. Andante 3. Molto Vivace 4. Tempo Del Primo Pezzo, Rubato 5. Allegro Molto Maestoso 6. Intermezzo Allegro Comodo E Scherzando 7. Adagio Molto Sostenuto 8. Allegro Risoluto E Giocoso
