About this product
2018 . Paint (Allah-Las guitarist/singer Pedrum Siadatian) is making his mark with his first self-titled solo record. After Allah-Las 2016 Calico Review album he started 4-tracking his own strange ideas fed by the acid-bitter poetry and murky music of Kevin Ayers & Syd Barrett. He found a producer in Frank Maston who instinctively understood the songs would fall apart in the studio if scrubbed too hard. Paint's first album isn't always clean but it's very, very clear sometimes the mess is the message.

Painter is a Canadian rock band formed in 1969 in Calgary, Canada, by Dan Lowe and Doran Beattie. The band evolved from the Calgary-based band 49th Parallel, which was formed in April 1967 and named after the invisible line marking the Canadian-U.S. border. Originating in Calgary, Painter moved to Seattle in the early 70s to record their first and what turned out to be their only studio album. The album, simply titled InchPainter,Inch was released at the end of October 1973 and was eagerly anticipated. It's eleven songs blend a wide spectrum of genres, including country and jazz segments, all brought together by powerful harmonies and Lowe's rock guitar. This was all underpinned by one of the heaviest rhythm sections. The album hit the North American market like a ton of bricks. To call it InchheavyInch was an understatement - yet it was also sophisticated, melodic, and filled with radio-friendly hooks. Billboard reviewed the album, describing it as Inchdominated by good-natured high-energy rockInch and noting that it Inch... also includes a bizarre space cutInch and Incha ballad with a classic phonic feel.Inch The album includes the hit singles InchWest Coast WomanInch and InchGoin' Home to Rock 'n' Roll.Inch Album Tracks 1. West Coast Woman 2. Tell Me Why 3. Song for Sunshine 4. Goin Home to Rock N Roll 5. Space Truck 6. Kites and Gliders 7. Oh! You 8. Slave Driver 9. For You 10. Crazy Feeling 11. Goin Down the Road

2016 from Austin, TX, punk trio Spray Paint. At the risk of corniness in conveying the sterling truth, Feel The Clamps could be considered to represent drummer Chris Stephenson, guitarist Cory Plump and other guitarist George Dishner arriving at a Inchnext level,Inch but next after what? They appear to have skipped a few. It would be inaccurate to call Feel The Clamps the band's InchdefinitiveInch document because it only InchdefinesInch where the band is at this stage, and the impressive distance between right now and the trio's genesis less than five years ago. Spray Paint is hyper-prolific because these guys have something that needs to stay up in the world's grill. A rapid-fire output is sometimes confused with Inchworth a S**t.Inch You know why the world is choked with aggressively mediocre music? Because the aggressively mediocre are really, really prolific and have amazing work ethics. But Spray Paint is no relation to the stylistic transients who couch-surf sub-genres in what should be a new movement tagged Inchtry-too-hardcore.Inch Their linear path of inspiration suggests there won't even be a language to describe what the trio is making five years from now. Feel The Clamps will clear the fence of any remaining solitary butts and if not, it's recommended said body part be checked for its owner's head. Album Tracks 1. Don't Get Sick 2. Burn Barrel 3. Atxhc (Dangly Earring) 4. Shoveling 5. Country Thumbs 6. Styrofoam Garbage 7. Feel the Clamps 8. Brat Beater 9. Bin Man Dreams 10. Heaps of Ice 11. George Finally Shows Up

2018 . Atlanta's Subsonics are a gutter-glam, minimal rock 'n' roll trio. This is their eighth album and it's called Flesh Colored Paint. Like all their previous works, this is a distilled hodgepodge of decades of popular culture and classic literature culminating in a collection of short and groovy shambolar Chuck Berry, Albert Camus, AM radio rock jocks, Bo Diddley, Golden Age TV, surrealism, Mad Magazine, kung-fu flicks, Herman Melville, Little Richard, self-negating philosophy, David Johansen, The Bible, Dee Dee Ramone, Lee Van Cleef, Cornell Woolrich, advertising jingles, Dada, Carole King, Bugs Bunny, and Casablanca; the poem, not the film. This is a gorgeous mess of an record, and it's cool. Real cool, killer. We hope you'll find something within to make you think, or at the very least, dance, if it's too deep. Album Tracks 1. Flesh Colored Paint 2. You Got Eyes 3. Baby and Chita 4. Why Should Anybody Care at All 5. Begging Hands 6. Too Much Too Many Heartaches 7. Die a Little 8. In the Black Spot 9. Most Popular Boy in Town 10. I Must Be Poisoned 11. I Believe I Don't Believe 12. Johnny Left Hand 13. Cold Cold Winter 14. Permanent Gnaw
