While maintaining their unique sound, there's a new direction for Vulture Industries on their fifth album, as they lean towards the dark side of hard rock. InchGhosts from the PastInch was written over a long period, and in a time of big changes both in their personal lives and in the world around us. This album is somehow a mirror of this. It reflects fear of a world spinning out of control, and a sense of powerlessness in the face of a world order falling apart. Crumbling only to be replaced by old ideas fronted by autocratic warlords with no sight in mind but their own power and legacy. Pulling on a wide range of influences; From dust riddled Spaghetti Westerns accompanied by Ennio Morricone, past the monochrome melancholia of apocalyptic post punk, through deep valleys and steep hills shrouded in progressive darkness and a Nordic noir looking to solve the unexplained murder of the truth. Landing on something once described by a fan as InchThis is how Nick Cave would sound like if he made metal.Inch, Vulture Industries has long since established itself as something singular, yet once familiar, strangely recognizable. With a writing and production process that was the band's longest haul to date, for a long time they felt lost and struggling to find a sense of direction. Now, we can say it is their strongest album to date and we hope you will enjoy what is essentially a piece of their soul.1. New Lords of Light2. Saturn Devouring his Young3. This Hell is Mine4. Vinyl LP pressing. 2015 from the Swedish metal band. A band rife with contradictions, Ghost B.C. preach extreme Satanic viewpoints over surprisingly lightweight Heavy Metal, and it's members maintain a strict vow of anonymity, both on record and on-stage, where they obscure themselves under monks' cowls, except for their lead singer, whose skull-faced makeup, cardinal robes, miter and thurible reflect an anti-Pope, instead. As a result, the band's rare concerts come across like an occult ritual, and their 2010 debut album, Opus Eponymous, totally defied expectations with its surprisingly accessible melodic rock sound, reminiscent of '60's Psychedelia, '70's doom, and '80's New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Just how long Ghost's musicians will manage to keep their identities secret as their notoriety grows remains to be seen, but that only touches the surface of the band's multi-layered enigma. While their identities were still cloaked in mystery, the band released their highly anticipated second record, Infestissumam, in early 2013, followed later that Autumn by the Dave Grohl-produced covers EP If You Have Ghost. Vinyl LP pressing. 2018 . Prequelle follows Ghost's third studio album, Meliora, and it's accompanying EP Popestar, which elevated the Swedish rock band into the pantheon of the greatest rock bands on earth and resulted in a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. Prequelle delves into the plague, the apocalypse, and dark ages. Ghost was formed in Linköping, Sweden in 2006. The band is easily recognizable owing greatly to it's eccentric on-stage presence. Five of the group's six members, it's 'Nameless Ghouls,' wear virtually identical, face-concealing costumes. The most distinguishable member is it's vocalist, called Papa Emeritus, who wears a prosthetic mask of skull face paint and appears as what can be described as a Inchdemonic anti-Pope.Inch Album Tracks 1.
