Great microwave. Replaced an older model. Like some of the newer features: sensor reheat for different items.

After doing without a microwave for a few days, it is great to be able to cook my microwave breakfasts again.

Not impressed with the sensor reheat option. The picture was taken after it exploded and we had to manually stop it.

When our previous 20+ year old Panasonic microwave finally had an issue, the turntable quit turning, it was time to go shopping for a replacement. After considering various other makes, & models it soon became an easy decision to purchase this Panasonic microwave. Everything works great and the newer features that have been added over the years make it even better than our previous Panasonic microwave. The control panel is nicely arranged and is easy to setup no matter what you want to cook or heat up. The size is perfect for the space we had available on our countertop.

We liked the machine (Panasonic - 1.2 Cu. Ft. 1200 Watt NN-SN65KW) a lot, til it stopped working 32 days after purchase. On Day 1 out of the box the Start button began misbehaving. By Day 32 the light wouldn't go out & the machine stopped altogether. A shame, because the interior size, the power, the inside light that stays on while cooking & whilst door is open, the soft door close vs the usual jarring mini-bang, the quick 30sec button, option to turn off beeps, & of course the overall design were all nice. (However some of us found it a bit loud.) Strongly recommend getting a BestBuy protection plan (e.g. Geek Squad for $25). Panasonic product support was impossible to contact. We called the Best Buy Geek guys & were able to return it to a store for a full credit.

Our 25 year old Samsung 800watt microwave finally gave out so I was excited to get a new one that would heat a can of soup in less than 2.5 minutes! I shopped and read dozens of reviews narrowing the choices to this one and (I think) a magic chef. I actually liked the other a bit more, mostly for its looks, but several of the reviews downgraded it because it was noisy. Our Best Buy didn’t have this one in black in stock, so we ordered one and got it a few days later. We love the way it performs. 90 seconds for my soup :), 45 seconds for a cup of boiling water, etc. but when I first turned it on my wife thought a 747 was flying just over our roof! Ok, that’s a BIt of an exaggeration, but I did double check to ensure I hadn’t missed a film or tape or something that was obstructing the exhaust. We still chuckle when we use it thinking that if the magic chef was louder that we’d need to use ear protection when using it.

Everything is great. The only issue is the buttons don't exactly line up with the numbers on the keypad so you have to put your finger on the number and then move it around until you hit the correct spot. It's very minor but the only button that is off by a large margin is the zeor button which is the child lock release button on the door.

In-store sales person was very helpful advising me on a selection. Suggested that I buy new version of same product I had before. Good choice. I already knew which buttons did what and there were several improvements in the new model. Especially, an interior light that stays on when door is open AND during cooking. All working very well! This replaced an old 1200W microwave. I found this n ew microwave to be easy to use and the high power is great for foods that need it like popcorn and warming up cooked rice. I've also dialed the power back for other foods and it works great for that as well. The turntable and inside is larger than my old microwave despite the fact that it is no larger than the old one. About the only negative is that the inside is stainless steel and so it is a little harder to see what is inside as compared to my old microwave which had a white interior.

We have had this microwave for well over a year now and could not be happier. It is powerful and convenient to use. I would highly drecommend it.

I purchased my Panasonic microwave as my sister had one and loved it. I am impressed with my choice, it works as it should and easy to operate, my requirement. Simplicity. Love it, and the safety feature on opening the door.

So far, it has worked very well, although the "Sensor Cook" feature tends to get carried away by reheating items a bit too much. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This microwave has a lot of power and it is easy to use.

Grey lettering on a black background makes it difficult to read touchpad. Also, method of selecting Power Level (i.e. repetitive pushing of Power Level pad to select power level) is cumbersome. Power level is not shown in display when cooking. Need to hold a button to recall power level in display. Power Levels less than full run hotter than other 1200 watt units-probably need o drop 10% from asked recipe value.

Now that it’s been a while since I purchased this microwave, I can offer an accurate review of the product. The appearance is nice. I haven’t had any mechanical issues. I am, however, completely baffled by the “inverter” technology, as it does not appear to operate any differently than every other microwave I have owned over the past three decades that didn’t have such technology. It is simply not true that it heats food evenly. I still deal with a reheated plate of food being cold in the center and burning hot around the edges. I paid literally three times what I normally would have specifically to avoid this issue. I read hundreds of reviews. I was willing to pay the price for “even heating”. Too bad I wasted my time and money. Don’t believe the hype.

Works perfectly. Small profile. Just what I needed for limited space.

Buttons can be hard to push sometimes so you have to push it twice

Took some getting accustomed to the control panel but the actual cooking features are great. Seems hotter than the old one of another brand we had been using for several years.

I would have given this beauty 5-stars if it wasn’t for the extremely hard to read buttons. I have a whirlpool dryer with same issue & a LG with same issue. Who uses charcoal grey print on black? But other than that-Panasonic never disappoints. Works well.
