About this product
Wilderness Within You by Parker Millsap - It's been a time of intense, worldwide change over the past few years... or maybe it all depends on scale. Zooming out to a geological timeline, maybe not much has changed at all. On his sixth album Wilderness Within You, acclaimed singer/songwriter Parker Millsap explores this flux between the here and now and the big BIG picture, while reckoning with questions about humanity's place on this planet. The result is a study in contrasts the personal versus the cosmic, sparse acoustic compositions sitting next to rich psychedelic improvisations. Above all, Wilderness Within You is an understanding of darkness while expressing an abundance of gratitude for life itself. Musicians Parker Millsap Vocals, Guitar, Keys / Daniel Foulks Violin / Ross McReynolds Drums & Percussion / Calvin Knowles Electric Bass & Upright Bass / Ryan Connors Keys / Will Honaker Keys / Juan Solorzano Guitar, Pedal Steel / Mark Sloan Guitar, Pedal Steel / Jake Botts - Saxaphone - Additional Musicians Gillian Welch OKRAHOMA RECORDS

Vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . Clowns dive deep into the theme of immortality across twelve electrifying tracks that surge with defiance and vitality.
Limited colored vinyl LP pressing. The fifth album from Oklahoma-bred singer/songwriter Parker Millsap, Be Here Instead emerged from a wild alchemy of instinct, ingenuity, and joyfully determined rule-breaking. In a departure from the guitar-and-notebook-based approach to songwriting that shaped his earlier work, the Nashville-based artist followed his curiosity to countless other modes of expression, experimenting with everything from piano to effects pedals to old-school drum machines (a fascination partly inspired by the early-'70s innovations of Sly Stone and J.J. Cale). As those explorations deepened and broadened his musical vision, Millsap soon arrived at a body of work touched with both unbridled imagination and lucid insight into the search for presence in a chaotic world.
Prog Metal overlords Tesseract will be releasing their brand new studio album. Very limited 2LP yellow vinyl. 500 only pressed.
