About This Item
- Details
- Genre: Easy listening
- Description: State of the Heart means even more to me now than when I released it in May. To be able to see the connection between the fans and to understand how intertwined our stories all are only makes it more meaningful to be able to share this Deluxe Edition. The five songs completing the album are as fundamental to the definition of State of the Heart as any others. It was important there would be no filler. I grew up listening to ZZ Top's InchRough BoyInch with my Dad and now I am able to share my version with Billy Gibbons. I wrote a letter to myself almost ten years ago which now lives inside of InchForgive YourselfInch. InchGood Die YoungInch is a song I wrote with my younger brother and both InchHummingbirdInch and InchLike The WaterInch represent metaphors that run deep throughout this record. I could say it's been quite a ride to the end of this album but I think it's more fitting to say it's been quite the journey to the beginning. Album Tracks 1. State of the Heart 2. When the Lights Go Out 3. Talk About That 4. Yours in the Morning 5. River 6. Little By Little 7. The Wire 8. Nowhere Town 9. Guess That's Why I'm Calling 10. Where You Are 11. Glitter 12. Right with You 13. Chasing You 14. Passerby 15. On Your Way Home 16. Good Die Young 17. Rough Boy (Feat. Billy F Gibbons) 18. Like the Water 19. Hummingbird 20. Forgive Yourself
