All of the compositions chosen were because of their extremely beautiful timeless music, and the emotional depth of the lyrics. Patrizia put together a stellar group of master musicians, consisting of Richard James on Piano, Daniel Jackson on Tenor-Sax, Bob Magnusson on Bass, and Ronnie Stewart on Drums. She calls them, 'My Four Outstanding Sidemen.' Each one knowing the role of their instrument so well, that even upon seeing the arrangements for the first time, the performances they deliver are truly outstanding. 'Track Info' The set begins with the title track, 1.'ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE, ' showcasing Patrizia's uniquely beautiful vocal instrument, which is both powerful and yet delicately serene, expressing every emotion found in between. The composition she calls, 'her lucky charm, ' embraces her passion and paves the way for the use of her multi-octave range, sensual lows, and rich vibrato in her renditions of the additional compositions. Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality.
