Paul Kelly - Life Is Fine - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The first words you hear on Paul Kelly's new album Seventy, are, 'Tell us a story.' The last words you hear are, 'Put another big log on the fire.' Yes, we're back in the kellyverse of love, loss, legend, wit, poetry and tales tall and true. In the room with his band and 'the ones he loves the best', passing the stories and jokes around, going all around the world while the storm howls outside the door and above the roof all snug and tight. Where else would you rather be?

Following the triumphant success of his 2017 album Life Is Fine, Australia's greatest and most enduring songwriter Paul Kelly returns with his new studio album Nature. Nature brings together poems from five literary greats - Dylan Thomas, Walt Whitman, Sylvia Plath, Gerard Manley Hopkins and Phillip Larkin - alongside poems that Kelly wrote himself and later put to music, and his own original songs that came along in the usual way, as sounds sung to chords that then turned into words.
