Vinyl LP pressing includes . R Stevie Moore and Jason Falkner's collaborative album Make It Be was recorded at Rhetoric, in Hollywood CA with Falkner producing. The grand majority of the songs were composed by Moore with one by Falkner, one co-written by the pair, one co-written by Roger Ferguson. Then there's a wonderful rendition of Huey Smith & The Clowns InchDon't You Just Know It.Inch What happens when R. Stevie Moore and Jason Falkner get together to record, arrange, and mix R. Stevie's songs? We get to hear an audacious realization of these songs' full potential in an epic collaboration no one saw coming. Moore and Falkner burst through your door with InchI H8 PplInch and take you on a journey through rock, pop, and experimental textures. Anchors such as InchPlay My Self Some MusicInch and InchSincero Amore,Inch keep the effort focused, while guitar-only interludes and spoken word pieces push boundaries.

With Play What's Not There, PWNT created another statement of intention that feels less geared toward shows of drum and stylistic prowess, with which PWNT is clearly endowed, and more toward songwriting and texture. The drums are even more dry, and acoustic guitar as a layering instrument has taken the place of keyboard and synth. Thankfully though, PWNT's love of horns remains. Resultantly, the songs sound older, both in terms of sonics and maturity. The respective descriptions of a Inchdreamy, hazy sound that feels perfectly aimed for... scorching summer afternoonsInch created for Inchtransporting listeners onto an inflatable flamingo in a Californian poolInch from ComplexUK and Dork Magazine certainly capture the peership that any listener could make between PWNT's Days In The Summer and Toro y Moi's June 2009 and What For? and Tame Impala's Lonerism, but those comparisons simply don't apply as readily for Play What's Not There.

Wstr was born from the belly of Liverpool in 2014 and had a swift rise as a part of the burgeoning U.K. pop punk scene alongside bands like Neck Deep, Boston Manor, and As It Is. Originally released on No Sleep Records, where they signed before they had even played a show, the band's debut EP SKWRD and debut album 'Red, Green or Inbetween' cemented them as one of the favorites of the scene and saw them tour the world multiple times over. Now on Hopeless Records, the band and Hopeless will be reissuing these titles on limited red and bone split and purple and bone split vinyl after having been out of print for years.
