A rugged, expandable, and brilliantly accessible carry-on travel backpack driven by a simple truth: no two trips are the same. Features top, side, front and rear access via weatherproof #8 and #10 UltraZips, which can withstand decades of use thanks to their proprietary abrasion-resistant thread. Meets international carry-on size requirements, but expands to be a 45L gear-hauler and collapses to be a 35L day bag, making it unmatched for 1-bag travel. Quick-access pockets for keys, glasses, passport, etc. Hugely expandable side pockets for water bottles, tripods, and more. Padded laptop + tablet sleeves. Main cavity is divisible into 2 compartments via a zippered mesh sleeve. Tuck-away shoulder straps and hip belt. 360-degree grab handles. Cleverly concealed external carry straps. All packed within a sleek, weatherproof 100% recycled 400D nylon canvas shell with 900D bottom liner. Fair Trade Certified and 100% carbon neutral. Works seamlessly with Peak Design Packing Cubes, Camera Cubes, and Pouches, sold separately. Organize clothes, shoes, toiletries, cords, adapters, and photo/video gear—from a single camera/drone to a full professional kit—which you can quickly access from the sides or rear of the bag. Comparing to the 30L? The 45L is better for: 1-bag-travel for trips 4 days and longer, More access and organization options, Trips where you need multiple jackets, pairs of shoes, or other bulky clothing, and Carrying camera gear (better compatibility with PD Camera Cubes, plus dual side access).
Q: Do you have to peak design back pack 45l in store?
A: As of right now most store locations do not have them. Not sure if they will be coming in the future. I am an employee that travels to different stores and have not seen any in stores.
Q: Will a 17.3" laptop fit in the laptop pocket?
A: undefined
A: It can! I ordered the larger packing cube from them to fit my clothes and surprisingly it fits a lot of clothes (using the roll method for shirts and flat laying pants) I paired it with the small camera cube and the tech pouch for a 3 day stay also packing a fold away bag for dirty clothes to carry separately once full and it worked perfectly! I’d say you’d be better off going with the medium camera cube for your needs. This specific trip I only needed my Sony a7iii and 2 smaller lens. I will be purchasing the medium camera cube in the future as well as it will still work with the larger packing cube but may have to get creative on the tech pouch placement. But the bag does a good amount of expanding so I have no doubts that it will still fit
