I recently purchased several Philip Hue light strips and wanted a way to have multitudes of colors in my game room. This Philip Hue bridge did the trick and allowed me to control my Philip Hue lights with changing of colors the way I wanted. Allows a lot of customization and creativeness over what the color schemes will look like when using the Philip Hue lights. Reasonably priced with great quality and a must have to turn a dull room into a spectacular show room. I’ve included pictures below to showcase what the Philip Hue lights can do in conjunction with using the Philip Hue bridge. It is pure awesomeness.

Works great, takes up little space. It was very easy to set up with Google assistant and it manages my Philips Hue lights amazingly!

The bridge gives Hue lights functionality the otherwise wouldn’t have, such as automations. I use it to turn lights on automatically when we arrive home after sunset. I also use it to turn lights on and off automatically as a security measure while we’re away. It was a little difficult to set up. I had to monkey around with it and get some help online when the most straightforward method did not work. It turned out that the firmware needed updating…which wasn’t possible until I could actually connect the device to a network.

This bridge was incredibly easy to install, paired with bulbs and sensor with absolutely no issues. This also seamlessly integrates with Apple HomeKit. Well done Philips!

I bought this to control Hue Play lights for my home theater and it works great. I had it up and running in a matter of a few minutes. The app is easy to use, and I have only just started to dive into the options on it. The only problem is I like it so much I want to drop all my money on smart lights now!

Our collection of Hue lights is quickly growing. This hub does exactly what you'd expect and makes adding and managing lights from the Philips Hue app a breeze. I love all the prebuilt scenes that Philips includes, and the ability to access my lights outside of the house. If you want to manage your lights in HomeKit, make sure you get this hub.

Expensive but works great, easy to install, lots of features, and easy to keep expanding hue ecosystem with inside and outside the home. Really love my Hue Sync!

The bridge really makes the Hue ecosystem convenient, and I do notice a faster response with it. Me personally, I can’t just buy 20 hue, lightbulbs in one go, but being able to add one bulb at a time and grow the ambience of your house is amazing. I believe you can add up to 60 bulbs with the bridge. But it’s also very important to have a solid Wi-Fi connection. That way the other devices won’t take a hit when it comes to Wi-Fi performance. I definitely want to get into the atmosphere lighting, and smart home, but that’s for I haven’t experienced any issue with the bridge “Fingers crossed”

I already have a Hue lighting system and it is a good product; It took a lot of profit and is very useful, also works very well the Google speaker. I bought this hub to give it to a relative; It also has many compatible applications that are impressive!

Yay, I thought, another hub/router/switch added to my home network. One more thing that will take an hour to set up and two hours to reconnect when someone unplugs everything when the power goes out. The Phillips Hub set up so quickly and easily that I was sure I had made a mistake...and since set up, the power has gone out twice in my place and I never had to do anything to make it work right again. When you add a light fixture to the hub, it’s super easy. Open the app, select to add a device, press the big button on the hub and presto. Done. Love it.

This is an excellent way to manage lighting fixtures that have wi-fi type features. Instead of using your router to manage your lighting fixtures/bulbs that take up router resources, the Hue Bridge does all of the work. Your wifi-router looks at one device (your Hue Bridge) instead of 10 to 20 devices. Your Hue Bridge manages all of your devices from any central location.

I am impressed with the ease of setup. Even though Hue is Apple HomeKit compatible I suggest using the Phillips Hue app for setup and operating your lights. Others in your house can use HomeKit to operate lighting and other devices with no problems.

This is a must. Buy with a starter kit if you're just beginning with the hue lights. Must buy if using only lightstrips.
