Simply put, I love my Philips toothbrush. I appreciate the simple and elegant design with only one button and one brush head that does it all. It cleans my teeth thoroughly and gently. Having tried both the sonic and rotating head, I am definitely leaning towards the sonic brush. What I really like is how it senses how I brush and adapts to me. It changes the intensity if I press too hard, and it connects to the Sonicare app on my phone. The app shows me how I brush and gives me tips and advice on how to improve. It is like having a personal coach for my teeth! The toothbrush also comes with a nice travel case that keeps it charged and safe. It is very easy to use and maintain. It is a high-quality electric toothbrush that is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

This is my second Philips Sonicare tothbrush, the first one lasted about 4 years and one day decided to give up. I got this one since it is smart too, it can connect to the smart phone and can customize it much more. And it is not necessary to connect to the phone for it to work by the way. It cleans my teeth as well as my gums very well. It only comes with one brush, I was hoping it came with two, It looks elegant and works great, I've had it for over a month and I am enjoying it. I like the stand, I rather have the cup that came with the previous one I had. Overall I really like it and would buy again.

I was very impressed with this Sonicare 9900 at first. It feels premium in the hand, looks great, and the clean is on a different level from a manual brush. My teeth feel smooth every time, and the different modes and intensities let you tune it exactly how you like. The app is actually useful, with guided brushing and clear feedback, not just a gimmick. I really liked the charging travel case too, very convenient for trips. After about six to seven months of use, I started having problems. I often used it in the shower and did not clean under the brush head very carefully. Toothpaste started to build up around the top of the handle, dried hard, and the brush began to act strange, then stopped working completely. For a toothbrush in this price range, I did not expect it to fail in under a year. To be fair, I am pretty sure that if I had taken extra time to clean it thoroughly after every use, it would have lasted longer. The design seems to need regular deep cleaning to stay in good shape. For me, I do not want to spend that much time every morning and night on maintenance for such an expensive toothbrush. If you are very careful about cleaning your devices and want top level performance with smart features, this brush is excellent. If you prefer something more forgiving that you can just rinse quickly and put away, the maintenance and price might not feel worth it.

Came with the wrong charger base and the app is pretty low tech for a $300 tooth brush. My toothbrush was stuck in the wrong charger that it literally came with for a while. I can use the case charger it comes with though and definitely feel like my teeth are cleaner. Definitely a great tooth brush but it’s frustrating that sometimes the app doesn’t even process that I’m brushing and definitely isn’t precise. Also I wish that the cover for the toothbrush head was more solid. Tech frustrations fs

Obsessed! If you are really into having clean and healthy teeth -- this is the one for you. + I love how the app shows you exactly where you should be brushing more and for how long. The only con is that you need to have your phone with you every time you brush your teeth if you would like for it to register.
