Philips VoiceTracer DVT1250 is the perfect voice recorder for notes and ideas on the go. Voice activated function for hands-free recording, 8 GB built in memory, microSD memory card slot for expanded recording time and extra long battery runtime.
Q: can this put the recording into text when transferred to computer? if so, how?
A: Hello Susie, I bought this voice recorder in November last year (2018) for dissertation interviews the following month in December. Regarding your question, it is easy to transfer voice recording to your computer. However, you will need a transcribing software to change the transferred audio on your computer into a text. The Philips audio recorder itself does not change audio recording into text. I hope my answer is helpful to you. Good luck.
A: Yes, it takes SD Card. I bought this recorder about 3 weeks ago. Although I did not insert SD Card because it has as high as 8GB, the SD Card slot is clearly on it. I hope I have answered your question. Thanks.
Q: what is the recording capacity time
A: The maximum recording time is 583 hours, that is when using a microSD card.
Q: Does it have an automatic date and timestamp?
A: The recordings are date stamped, but not time stamped, The DVT2510 has date and time stamp.
A: It's totally quiet,, and battery life seems to be really good as well
