Phoenix - Ti Amo - VINYL LP

Where the Snows Are Never Gone is a relentless and piercingly cold assault of noisy black metal somewhat similar to Ildjarn, plus there's also minor hints of melancholy in the mix (InchWinter WarriorsInch) reminiscent of e.g. Baptism, though only rarely. While drums keep blasting steady blast beats along with guitars providing menacing tremolo riffage throughout, the upfront screams are noteworthy as well, going hand in hand with the harsh, evil and cold atmosphere of the demo.

2016 . I Had A Dream That You Were Mine is an album of songs Hamilton Leithauser (formerly of The Walkmen) and Rostam Batmanglij (formerly of Vampire Weekend) wrote and recorded together between 2014 and 2016. I Had A Dream That You Were Mine is the latest collaboration between the two Rostam was a prominent player on Black Hours, Leithauser's solo record following the Walkmen's split. While many were awaiting Rostam's first proper solo , the collaborative album between these two critically acclaimed artists is certainly a welcome for fans of both Vampire Weekend and The Walkmen.
