About this product
Every time I listen to the very first tones of Afterglow, I get struck immediately, as if by a force of nature. Suddenly, I am part of a natural phenomenon, that manifests right in front of me. At that very moment, everything else in the world doesn't seem to matter that much. There's only you and the musical synergy of two masterminds, who put their hearts and souls in every detail of their private conversation. Exactly the same feeling hit me over and over, when audio engineer Floren Van Stichel and I were part of the creation of Afterglow, in September2018. The sheer beauty of the music by Enrico Pieranunzi and Bert Joris was present at every single moment. The only thing Floren and I had to do was listen. We simply guarded the entire process. While performing together, Enrico once said Sometimes, the moment you don't play adds more significance to the things you do playInch. The same thing applies to being a producer. Being present was just enough. Nature took it's course and Afterglow saw the light of day.Inch (Jasper Somsen)

Henry Hadley was one of the most popular composers of the early 20th Century. Unfortunately his works have since be largely forgotten, but it certainly is not because of any lack of quality of the work. These are wonderful pieces that hopefully will now again get at least of bit of the recognition that they deserve, with sensitive performances by Theodore Buchholz, cello, and Paula Fan, piano. Theodore Buchholz is the cello professor at the University of Arizona, where he also serves as String Area Coordinator, String Chamber Music Coordinator, and the Director of the UA String Project. As a performer Theodore Buchholz has been lauded by newspaper critics as a Inchvirtuosic cellistInch with a Inchwarm beautiful sound.Inch He has performed in prominent venues from New York's Lincoln Center to international halls in Italy and Tokyo, and in countless venues across the United States. He toured the recently commissioned concerto The High Songs by Carter Pann, and performed Brahms's Double Concerto and Beethoven's Triple Concerto with orchestras across the U.S.

After the success of InchHinterlandInch in 2005, the band stretched forward to show a truer picture of the band's inner nature. Many fans were asking for the early demo they did in 2003, and these tracks were re-recorded with the full band for InchAfterglowInch. The strong influence of black metal can be heard both in the surprising power and aggression of some sections, as well as the structure and tonality of many of the riffs. Paradoxically, InchAfterglowInch was also a more dyed-in-the-wool proggy prog rock album, with it's epic-length compositions and detours into renaissance and baroque music.InchAfterglowInch was also a well-received record, scratching the itch that fans had felt for those early demos, and cementing the band's position as a leading light among InchretroInch prog bands.InchAfterglowInch was the start for one of the best progressive rock bands that has emerged in the early 2000's, and is now finally available again on CD and limited coloured vinyl.1.
