There is a lot to love here. If you don't mind reading, there is a deep story line that will pull you right in. Combat feels natural which is impressive considering the transition from a PC setting. Finally with the base game and White Marsh expansions included, there is enough content here to keep you busy for a very long time. Other than some above average load times and an occasional difficulty spike, this game makes a brilliant transition to the PS4.

Pillars of Eternity, along with Divinity Original Sin, are two examples of classic computer-style RPGs made for modern systems and audiences. If you like games with a strong story, meaningful characters, and choices that actually make a difference in how the game plays out look no further than this.

Plenty of story that involves a great deal of imagination and reading. Love the strategy and the combat based on D&D rule sets. Great game for any CRPG lovers from the Baldur's Gate days.

I did the kickstarter for this game on PC and loved it. Figured I would replay on PlayStation and found it plays well with a controller. Great story , be prepared to read a lot of text but worth it.

Pillars of Eternity is a top down RPG, very similar to the classic DOD PC games (Neverwinter Nights, Icewindale, et al.) If this style of game suits you, Pillars of Eternity is a must purchase. At least it was for me...

A great classic feel RPG, a throwback to the isometric games of the 90s.

This game was ment to be played on PC. I admire their attempt to port this to consoles, but it is quite difficult to play this game at harder difficulties with a controller.

I haven't had the opportunity to play the game yet, but I have heard many awesome things about it from multiple people and online. I am looking forward to playing it.

Be a 5-star review if the disc had not been rattling around loose in the case. However it does work fine. I have this game on computer already and it's one of my all-time favorites, got this for my dad for Christmas because he does not have a PC.

Action strategy RPGs are rare on consoles but when Pillars debuted it was successful because of how well it played for oldie classics like Diablo and Balder’s Gate. This collection has everything at a great price. Game is a few years old and the graphics show on PS4 but who cares - it’s the inside package that counts.

This game comes with all the DLC and characters. If you bought this on PC it would have wound up costing you $80 or more over the course of a year. This is a steal at $50. If you like Diablo, or Baldur's Gate pick this one up.

The pillars in this game are legion. They go on for eternity. No roof will ever collapse with this kind of structure supporting it. 5 stars.

This is a good game that is just brought down by the horrible load times. Don't understand why load times are this poor on the PS4 console.

Pillars of Eternity checks all the boxes for what I want in a RPG. The game features a deep skill and ability system, a fair amount of customization options and a series of quests and storylines interspersed with enough humor so as not to feel stale or tedious. My one note of caution is that the depth of the skill/ability system likely means you won’t be able to simply pickup and play the game. If you’re willing to invest a little in learning the game’s nuances it’s highly rewarding. This is one the best RPGs available.

If you're a fan of old school Fallout, Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate, etc, then pick this game up. Well worth the purchase and a mighty return to the isometric RPG genre.

I didn't know much about this game. But after seeing videos online I decided to pick it up. Game is a fun top down rpg game.

I found this video game through its music; I was listening to a playlist and kept getting soundtracks from it, and decided, hey, why not give it a try? It did not disappoint! I’ve not played the whole game yet, but what I have played has been fun, interesting, and I was instantly hooked into the story. It almost feels like a Dungeons and Dragons campaign as a video game (the characters even have sheets with stats). Overall one of the best games I’ve played yet!
