About This Item

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Momentary Lapse Of Reason is the 13th studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, released in the UK and US in September 1987. It followed guitarist David Gilmour's decision to include material recorded for his third solo album on a new Pink Floyd album with drummer Nick Mason and keyboardist Richard Wright. Although for legal reasons Wright could not be re-admitted to the band, Wright and Mason helped Gilmour craft what became the first Pink Floyd album since the December 1985 departure of bass guitarist, singer, and primary songwriter Roger Waters. A Momentary Lapse of Reason was recorded primarily on Gilmour's converted houseboat, Astoria. It's production was marked by an ongoing legal dispute with Waters as to who owned the rights to Pink Floyd's name, an issue resolved several months after the album was released. Unlike many of Pink Floyd's studio albums, A Momentary Lapse of Reason has no central theme and is instead a collection of songs written by Gilmour, sometimes with outside songwriters. Album Tracks 1. Signs of Life Pink Floyd 4 21 2. Learning to Fly Pink Floyd 4 52 3. The Dogs of War Pink Floyd 6 03 4. One Slip Pink Floyd 5 08 5. On the Turning Away Pink Floyd 5 41 1. Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven - VINYL LP

Mannequin Pussy's music feels like a resilient and galvanizing shout that demands to be heard. Across four albums, the Philadelphia rock band that consists of Colins InchBearInch Regisford (bass, vocals), Kaleen Reading (drums, percussion), Maxine Steen (guitar, synths), and Marisa Dabice (guitar, vocals) has made cathartic tunes about despairing times. InchThere's just so much constantly going on that feels intentionally evil that trying to make something beautiful feels like a radical act,Inch says Dabice. InchThe ethos of this band has always been to bring people together.Inch Their new album, I Got Heaven, which is out March 1 via Epitaph Records, is the band's most fully realized recording yet. Over ten ambitious tracks which abruptly turn from searing punk to inviting alternative pop, the album is deeply concerned with desire, the power in being alone, and how to live in an unfeeling and unkind world. It's a document of a band doubling down on their unshakable bond to make something furious, thrilling, and wholly alive.Following the 2019 of their critically acclaimed third album Patience, Mannequin Pussy returned in 2021 for their EP Perfect. They toured that relentlessly and added guitarist Maxine Steen to the band's official lineup. The band changed their entire creative formula, choosing to write together in the studio in Los Angeles with producer John Congleton, over slowly crafting tracks at home. InchEveryone felt empowered to speak up about their own ideas to make this thing the best it could possibly be,Inch says Regisford. Album Tracks 1. I Got Heaven 2. Loud Bark 3. Nothing Like 4. I Don't Know You 5. Sometimes 6. Ok? Ok! Ok? Ok! 7. Softly 8. Of Her 9. Aching 10. Split Me Open

Method Man - Tical - VINYL LP
5.0(1)

2014 is the 20th anniversary of TICAL, the debut solo album of Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man, released November 15, 1994, on Def Jam Records. It was the first Wu-Tang solo album released after the group's debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Similar to all first generation solo Wu-Tang projects, TICAL was mainly produced by group member RZA. The album features guest appearances from several Wu-Tang members including RZA, Raekwon, & Inspector Deck. The album was a commercial success, reaching number four on the Billboard 200, and number one on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. On July13, 1995, it was certified platinum. This success was driven by it's two singles, 'Bring the Pain' and 'I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By'. TICAL has since been hailed by several music critics as a hip hop classic and it's success is matched by it's influence as a major piece in the East coast hip hop renaissance. Album Tracks 1.
