Q: Does it fit a 2016 Nissan pathfinder and does it have a back up camera

A: The head unite doesn't come with any cameras. Will have to buy that separately. The head unite has the option for a back up Camera installation.

Q: Does this play normal cds? It says yes to DVD but no to CD in the specifications, is this simply a typo?

A: Yes . It does play normal cd's also....so far so good

Q: Can you play cds while driving? I know that pioneer won’t let you play dvds while driving without buying a bypass and since this has a “dvd” player and a not a CD player I just want to make sure you can play cds while driving, thanks!

A: There is a ground wire that is suppose to go to parking brake. Just hook that up to a ground and you are good to go.

Q: wanted to know if bluetooth on this system works with android phones too? Box says made for iphone/ipod

A: Yes it works great with Android phones no issues.

Q: Does this stereo come with any wires coming out the back at all to wire into your cars wiring or do you have to buy them and if so what is the part number.

A: It does come with a wiring harness that plugs into the back of the stereo however you will need an additional harness that will connect these wires to your car speaker system. I purchased that at Best Buy, they can look up the right one for your vehicle and order if not in stock

More bang for your buck
So far so good, this model replaced the stock radio in my silver 2014 Nissan Cube. It was just what I needed as far as Bluetooth, CD/DVD and USB capabilities. Being able to change the background and color schemes is a bonus. The EQ controls are good as well. The only con was it doesn’t have track info on CDs but it’s cool because I’m 99% Bluetooth anyways. If you want all that fancy stuff like Apple Car Play and screen mirroring you have to spend more money on higher price models. I’m happy with this model and have already suggested it to others. I also have a black 2014 Nissan Cube and I’m going to put just a Pioneer Bluetooth receiver in it soon. The MixxTraxx probably.

Excellent unit at a great price. 03 Toyota Sequoia
The Good: The interface is really easy to use and looks clean, not too busy and very simplistic. Face panel button color can be changed to match your existing vehicle colors, nice touch, The bluetooth connects immediately and streams perfectly, no hiccups or complaints there. The DVD quality is superb, great vibrant and sharp display. The added remote is great for the kids to use in the back if they want to pause or rewind the movie. The music quality from the unit is SUPERB. I changed my speakers at the same time to Kicker 6.5s and it feels and sounds like my Suv has a subwoofer, I actually dialed it back a little. There is also no white noise or hiss at any volume, I returned a cheaper Jenson head unit before this because of this issue. A conveniently placed "screen off" button on the panel has also been a great feature I didn't know I wanted. I don't always want the person next to me at the stoplight knowing I'm rocking out to Britney Spears. The not so Good: First, my biggest hesitation when purchasing this unit, the glossy finish. To my recollection, no vehicle made has a glossy trim finish on their console. A flat black finish would have blended better, not only with my vehicle, but 99.99% of vehicles on the market. Glossy plastic surfaces are also notorious smudge monsters. Another reason I didn't first try this product was the lack of a volume knob. This turned out to be less of an issue than I thought. The volume buttons are very responsive to what you're trying to do. There is also a thoughtfully placed mute button directly under the volume buttons, this is nice. The home screen is pleasant to look at but I would have liked the ability to add a custom picture, not a deal breaker but really? Overall: I really, really enjoy this headunit. It has made my commutes so much nicer. I was blown away by the sound difference between this Pioneer and my factory JBL bi-amped system, its not even in the same ballpark. I really got a lot of features for 200 bucks.

Pioneer quality
I’ve always been a fan of Pioneer stereos. This one does everything I need and makes my factory speakers sound better than they are. I was able to do the install myself, and with a little ingenuity and extra adapter, have my steering wheel controls work with it, as well keeping an AUX and USB port on my center console working. The controls are simple, and the options are many. I thought about the better, glass screen, but didn’t think that was worth $150 more. Very happy with this purchase.
