I have had this stereo for about 3 weeks now. I am pretty handy with electronics and installations, however since Best Buy had free installation with the purchase, I opted to have them install it. Keep in mind, if you are replacing your existing radio you will need additional harnesses and other accessories to make sure it is connected properly. When I bought it, the sales person ordered up most of the additional harnesses. He did miss one important one which ended up costing an addition $70 at the time of installation. You have to have this If you want to use satellite radio. In addition to the satellite antenna adapter as an accessory harness, you will need to get the $70 satellite unit. So expect to spend about an additional $200 on harnesses and adapters. I have a 2013 Ram 2500 and it likes like it was factory installed. I am very happy with this unit and would highly recommend it to others.

Wanted an Apply play radio for a work truck and didn't want to spend to much money. BAM, this radio was inexpensive and works perfectly for my needs. Easy to use, setup and I'm very happy with my purchase. The higher priced radios do give you lots of extras but for a work truck this radio is perfect.

I was originally looking at an in dash navigation unit for my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder, but decided to save a little money and try a unit with CarPlay where my phone GPS is displayed on the screen. Very happy with the decision. Install was a breeze. The only downside was with the dash kit I bought. The trim ring sticks out around the edges of the stereo a bit more than I'd like, but otherwise it's a good fit. I mounted the included microphone just behind the steering wheel on the dash. I used an aftermarket panel mount USB cable which I mounted in one of the blank switch plates down below the stereo. Very happy with the installation and the performance of this stereo. Handsfree works very well especially with Hey Siri. I can easily ask for directions or change playlists by voice command. Besides the built in HD radio I can also stream Sirius or Pandora through my phone. There are separate volume settings for navigation and CarPlay, so when listening to music at the same time as using the GPS the directions aren't overpowering.

For the price, this product is responsive, fast, easy to use, and is packed with helpful features. I was not a fan of the pioneer app that is installed with it but the CarPlay in the dash receiver works perfectly! Fast start up time and my 2012 Honda Civic has finally been modernized!

Installed in my 01 Acura CLS integrated well with Bose factory amplifier. I added a Kenwood class D monoblock amplifier and a pioneer 10 inch high Excursion 4 ohm dual voice coil subwoofer in order to run amplifier at 2 ohms. I built a custom subwoofer enclosure and my system totally rocks. I buy all my equipment at Best Buy.

I replaced my OE Sterio with NAV in my 2008 Corvette with this, Great results. I use Apple maps, Waze, or Google maps with this, which means it’s ALWAYS up to date. The sound is great and I didnt add Sirius, since I use Pandora free. I had Best Buy install it for $99. Well worth the money!

I purchased this for a mother’s day gift to myself. I have a 05 Toyota Corolla. My car runs great but needed a upgrade and this is perfect set up was easy syncs great with my Apple phone, iPad and iPod. No more aux hook up for me. I didn’t get the usb input didn’t think I needed it, but there’s something called CarPlay or something like that I guess you need it for that. It also has a DVD player which I don’t need because who is going to sit parked in your car to watch it. I still have to play around with it. I also got the rear camera even though I’m always accustomed to looking and being careful when backing up it’s still a great addition.

This radio has given my 2007 corvette an upgrade that I am extremely pleased with. The double Din display clearly lets me safely view all apps. I have a rear camera that is extremely clear when in reverse. All this plus the radio is awesome with meta data showing you the artist.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! He had it professionally installed in his car a couple days after Christmas. He couldn't be happier, said it works beautifully and has had no problems at all with it's functionallity.

I am a little disappointed with the quality of this stereo unit. The Sirius radio cuts out all the time and it’s just not as pleasing as my kenwood was. On the plus side, it is simple to use

I purchased this to replace the stock unit in my car. I wanted to have Bluetooth capability without spending a ton of money. I got that capability and a whole lot more. I didn’t want to replace the stock speakers just yet and after it was installed by the Geek Squad, I don’t think I’ll need to replace them until I blow them up. This unit really woke up my stereo system and I couldn’t be happier. It also comes with Apple CarPlay and because of that, I really don’t need to pair a Bluetooth device. You can make and receive calls, have your text messages read to you and can send a reply via voice dictation. Your music apps like Spotify and Pandora will work great through CarPlay. I’ve barely listened to radio broadcasts since since the install. You can also upload a picture or graphic to have a custom look on the touch screen. This is a great bang for your buck.

Installed this as a second aftermarket head unit on an 04 Toyota Tundra Limited Double Cab and ignited sparks with my ride all over again. After spending some money for a 200K required maintenance on this old boy, from all fluids, all the belts, water pump & a set of brand new tires, decided to go all out upgrading to a Pioneer AVH 1330NEX that’s Apple Car Play ready & it was all well worth every money spent. Along with a back up cam, also professionally installed by Best Buy and its about as close as you can get to the feel of driving a seemingly newer car without the monthly payments. Both Alpine 4 channel & sub Amps are still working great & this Pioneer 1330NEX made me realize what I was missing. The awesome display, functionality, Apple Car Play, which was worth the wait, bluetooth functions, HD Radio & a more intricate graphic equalizer upgraded my sound as well to better compliment & appreciate the audio package I had all along. 2 thumbs up & 5 stars!

I looked around at a number of other stereos and settled on this one. It has the ability to be used by Apple Car Play or Androids version. It also had HD radio and Sirius Radio as well. I have an older car and so I also bought and installed a backup camera with this, this radio has a ton of features I could not use. However, I was really surprised as it allows me to use Waze as an app on the radio. Car Play does not allow that.

I bought this during black friday and had free instillation (free installation just covers for the receiver) . Just so you know I had to buy 4 kits but I only bought 3 to make my steering wheel controls, and USB to work in my car. Plus the kit I had to buy for the receiver itself. I didn't buy the kit for the satellite radio. All 3 kits cost $50.They couldn't get the steering wheel kit to work so they had to hotwire the existing wires. Which was fine but it had to cost me $120 extra for all of the installation for the kits plus another $16 for adding something for the antenna to work... Keep that in mind when buying one of these receivers. Other then having to spend a little more when what I thought this receiver is amazing! Apple Car Play was the reason why I bought this unit plus it had some of the better ratings. I couldn't be happier! Pandora works amazing and the Maps app looks awesome on this 6 in screen. Its a must have if you wanna try a low entry lever in dash receiver.

I purchased this product to upgrade my 2006 Toyota Sienna audio system. Apple play coupled with all the other features on this unit has exceeded all my expectations. I also purchased a backup up camera and the display is on par with factory installation from the showroom of a dealership. Additionally, the HD sound quality sounds crystal clear making my factory speakers feel new. I have had this unit for over a month, and plan to upgrade my daughters 2007 Corolla with a similar pioneer unit.

We purchased this receiver not knowing a thing about it up-front, except for what the salesperson told us. When all was said and done, it came down to price and this unit filled the bill in all respects. Touch screen response is great, Apple Car Play is great, BlueTooth integration is great, equalizer options are great, sound quality is great. We also purchased the Sirius Satellite radio interface with seamless integration as well as the Meastro RR interface to preserve steering wheel controls, all working in perfect harmony with the Pioneer NEX 1330. It's just an awesome head unit for the money. RECOMMENDED!

Purchased for my daughter's birthday before she was taking a summer vacation. Since she was driving with 4 friends for quite some distance, I wanted her to have an apple carplay stereo so she would have access to maps and apps through the bigger car stereo screen. This was a great low cost stereo and being pioneer it an easy choice. She loves it. Although installation was included, I easily installed it myself in a couple hours.
